Anyone have that link at hand that I posted a while back that you can enter a VIN # and get the owners or registration info??
Or bump those posts here.
I'd have to dig around hard to find it. Will book make it next time.
Thanks

HEY!!
Anyone ever see this website??
http://vin.place/index.php#VIN
Put a VIN in and get owners name. Might be good if looking at a one owner car and want to contact the previous owner?? Might be intrusive a bit though.
I'm the second owner of my car, but my name doesn't come up. The original owners name does.
Try it out guys and let me know what your searches reveal.
Holy shi* ..... Did the name search with my name, and two previous car purchases show up with my home address and mobile phone #!! Cars that were brand new and I was the first owner.
Scary. So anyone can grab a VIN off a car outside somewhere and potentially get the owners personal info??
Yeah, these days nothing is safe. The reason why I'm not on Facebutt, Twitter, or whatever. I don't need to broadcast my life to everyone with Internet access. What next, live cams to people's living rooms??
Rennlist is my outlet of choice. Just because of the car hobby. I've even questioned this many times and wondered if it's a waste of time.

Interesting that the VIN of my current car doesn't show up in that search. For the VIN of my previous 991, the previous owner shows up but not my ownership as the second owner (I had the car for two years before trading it in last summer). Wonder if it works only for first owners? (And if that was the case, then why doesn't my current car show up at all?)

The list price is not HFS caliber, and it is NOT a "new" car. However, I have it on good authority that there is much wiggle room on actual sales price. Regardless, it's a LO, GTS duck. What more do you want? If anyone would like a more thorough report, just letme know. I'm local and am very pleased with my experience at Porsche Austin. Have personally inspected this duck and it is insanely awesome.

I was not planning to offer anything near $80k, if I make any offer at all. They are asking $85k for a CPO 2013 S Cabrio. No SC. With only one P-car dealer here, prices are high.

I have been looking at this base 911 for several weeks. It looks like new to me.

They are asking $80k for a base w/PDK and no sport chrono with 9k miles and not CPO. For that money you can get a nice 13-14 CPO S with many more options.

I have never used anyone in that area, but my first thought would be to use RAC Performance. I have never heard complaints and only good things about them.

Not necessarily a HFS price at $79,998; but, a nice build on this 2013 C2S with 7MT. And only 3667 miles! No pictures yet.
