Certainly wasn't implying to have dealers on here. Following on here for a long time and some people have suggested good guys at different dealers they have dealt with. No offense meant. Sorry

No prob. I didn't read into that from your post. Just thought I'd address it since it was brought up. You're just looking for a reference/contact there.
GraSox was looking for a car a while back on here and found a nice one on his own in CA and took it back to AZ I met up with him and another local friend (who lives there in the winter) when visiting Scottsdale last year.
It's always good to try and get a contact name. Always helps. Keep us posted!

Oh no worries! It is a great idea to share dealer info, of course. I would recommend the dealership I bought from, for example. Four states over and it was a very straightforward, easy transaction, very transparent. Great experience!
This 2011 PDK 997.2 GTS with408 Hp and 19k miles is well optioned and in sweet condition. You can bet it is a garage queen driven only in nice weather, when it is owned by a Chicago PCA guy less than 4k miles per year. Chuck Shank is a buddy of mine, and a long long time Chicago PCA member and racer. He is retired nowadays and for kicks does some Porsche consignment sales for some of his friends, just to keep busy. He advertises mostly by phone and email. I don't see a VIN or would post a buildsheet. I'm sure he can supply more pictures along with clean CarFax. Chuck likely knows the seller and history...
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays everyone. Hope someone found a new 991.1 under their tree. Thanks to STG et al for running this thread. I bought my first Porsche nearly 1 year ago with a lot of help from this site.
Merry Christmas to all. Speaking of 991.1 stocking stuffers, Suncoast Parts has a factory Sport Exhaust kit on sale for $2195, including the console control button switch. Also saw a brand new set of Black/Gray checkered Cocomats with the grommet option in Dec Panorama classifieds for $150 still in original box.
Now I just need to find a big green bow for the top of my Guards Red C2S...
Glancing at online ads online PCA.org in the Mart for nice 991's, I see three interesting cars...
2015 GR/BK Carrera almost brand new with 900 miles for $75k. Nicely optioned $100+k MSRP.
2012.5 RY/BK Carrera S sunroof in Black Glass, with 18.5k miles for $69.5k. Nicely optioned with PSE, SC, SPASM, PDCC, etc.
2012 997.2 GTS Cab. 408 Hp, $75.1k with 25.5k miles, CPO thru 9/17
PCA club members can look at Mart ads online. For those who do not own a Porsche and are not yet PCA members PCA.org offers a special membership to signup and shop the Mart online for Porsches, Porsche parts and accys.
Front bumper has plugs from front plate and I'd fix the rear badge. Same with the plugs personally. I'd patch and repaint. Regardless, looks like a nice ride.
