I'm sure some people buy these cars to rent them out alot just to have a nice car to drive or try and make money off of. I can't imagine how ones insurance company would approve of this??

Imagine, then they hit the pre-owned market? Like buying a car from Avis or a Porsche dealer loaner.

[Cross posting with the HFS alumni thread]

Saw it on HFS and bought it the same day. I had been looking passively for a year and this one met almost every criteria. Just picked it up last week and the weather has been horrible, so I just have the one pic. Thanks to STG and other contributors. The information from the HFS thread gave me confidence that I was getting a great deal.

2014 Carrera S CPO - Mint condition!
11.9k miles, Manual, Sports Design, glass sunroof, 14-way heated/cooled, PSE, Sports Chrono, Bose, and a few others.
$84k

i owned a Macan Turbo and it was awesome. But I wanted a sportscar again, so traded it for this 991 C2S, which I love. But I will be back in a Macan again one day. Sooner if I can convince my wife to give up our beater - a 2015 RX350. My next Macan will be a Turbo with Performance pkg -

Not cheap, but an awesome performance machine!

Passive looking, but went in for the KILL as soon as he saw it. Nicely done! Nothing worse than the one that got away

I guess I need to buy one and when I sell it, the rest of you guys can purchase then, as the price will plummet when I look to move it.

And take the wife out of the equation or sounds like you will never get there!!

I'm sure there is a "too good to be true" story here, but if so it doesn't show up in the Carfax. Although the ad simply says 2013 Carrera, it is a 2013 C4S with 23k miles listed for $68,990.

http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-s...modelCode1=911

However unlikely, I hope it is real and someone is able to pick it up.
