PDK will be easy to find. White will be easier than Carmine too.

Might need to drop the duck dreams, but that can easily be added after the fact.

Price & Mileage parameters?

you mean like this beauty? http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-s...modelCode1=911

build sheet = $137.5K msrp [STG linked]

I can't figure out to post pics ().

It literally ticks all your boxes, except duck (which can add later). If I was in the market now, I'd think long and hard about this one. If only we were two years into the future....

Yeah I have been looking at that one. Something that has given me pause is 2 owners and the second for a month. It was also at a chevy dealership, so not sure if every employee there decided to drive the **** out of it. Also shows spoiler replaced.

I agree, I would want some answers related to the history to make me comfortable.

Realistically, if it still has the original tires and qualifies for CPO, I wouldn't worry too much.

I'd be curious to see it in person.

Currently I'm on desktop . Tried to copy/paste images from website but would not work. I also edited the original post to add build sheet link (but since you posted I'll delete because, again, could not figure out how to post the pic vs the link ).

I check this thread out every day and keep my eyes peeled on the used inventory almost daily....wife says it's not a healthy obsession because "we are not buying anything for a few years"... I'm not terribly active poster because I do not yet own a 991. But have a 6 year old 987.2 bought new that I will never sell.

Don't worry, you're getting your education now. You'll be well prepared when the time comes. Have your wife blame me partly

At least it's a PDK, so no concerns over folks abusing the clutch if manual. It's also CPO'd until 2021, so that's good. Perhaps someone local could go drive it and take a look for you. I would not be concerned at all about the car being driven hard. I would be more concerned of the opposite, if the car sat for too long w/o being used (but I realize many folks would disagree and would prefer unused/undriven cars). I drive my almost 7 yr old 987.2 every day, even in winter. Have about 31K miles (short work commute), and never need to add any oil between changes, never get any smoke at startup, etc. Lucky I suppose .

Inquire re history, ask for DME, and use it as bargaining chip during negotiations after someone local gives it a thumbs up. Good luck (I wish I was in the market now...)

Btw, STG, are you in Milwaukee? (pic in your avatar). If you go to the PCA DE at Road America this year, I'll be on the look out.

Funny, I'm looking for almost the same car, but I am indifferent on dial color or 18 ways. I have 4 way sport seats in my CaymanS and love them.

Just last night, I too started to seriously consider a new 991.2S with sports package. For ~117k (and maybe a 6% discount on top of that?), I can get a perfect build, very nice wheels, but without full-leather (obviously no alcantara option). When comparing to the white GTS in Florida with shady carfax history for $113k and 8k miles, it's tough to justify. I think GTS cars need to come below 100k to make them better buys than 991.2S cars. Let's not have a NA argument

Hey Quadry, re the 2 owners, I would not be too concerned about that, many owners of high end cars get bored very quickly and switch out cars on a frequent basis. Sure, others keep them for life.
