HOT FOR SALE: Pick of the Week 991
#6364

First off, Thank you STG for hosting such a wonderful thread. I have been following it for several months now and hope to buy a 991S early next year in the low $70's
There is a 2012 991S at Hendrick Porsche in Charlotte for $72,988.
VIN: WP0AB2A91CS121667
Originally $113,240 with 13,491 miles
35.5% and $40k off retail
http://www.hendrickporsche.com/certi...dbe58e7047.htm
I like that it has:
CPO
PDK
Sport Chrono
14 way seats
Bose
Premium package plus
Seems to have PSE added since it has the switch but not on build sheet
Clear bra
I'm a little worried about:
Aftermarket Vorsteiner wheels
Aftermarket paddles on the Multifunction steering wheel
Carfax shows a second owner who recently had it for about 2 months.
First year car
Minimum leather
The car will probably sell before I'm ready to move, but it's in state and seems like an OK deal.
What does the group think of the car and is there a consensus on a fair price?
Thanks,
Greg

Have seen this old abandoned bank for years. Always thought the quote at the top was great.
Attributed to Appius Claudius Caecus 340 BC. Still rings true. Some things never change.
The HFS take on it:
"Every man is the architect of his own fortune, and may he one day own a Porsche 911"

I love the interpretation.
.,.One day too I will have my C4S agate cab manual

Initially they was asking around $95K and I offered $87K and they did not accept my offer.
Last week they dropped the price to $89XXX and yesterday I offered $85K.
SA said they are negotiating with San Diego porsche and he said my offer is more then what San Diego offered so He said that his manager will be ok with my offer. After 10 minutes He called me back and said manager already sold the car to the San Diego Porsche.
Some Info about the car:
Front bumber repainted.
$20K service done.
New 4 tires.

IMHO, $89K is just an ok deal for this car. For to be a HFS, it should be at most $85K.
