It is a pretty good price, but it does not have PSE and SD steering wheel (paddles), which would add ~$5k to retrofit.

You should consider higher-mileage cars if you are going to daily drive it year round; let the first buyer take a bigger depreciation hit.

Thank you! I feel like a higher mileage one, giving the high amount of miles I plan to drive, would results in an even bigger depreciation hit and maintenance costs. If I buy one with 30k miles for example, I'd be at 75k after 3 years.

It's over $40K off MSRP which is fair with 10K miles. I'd get them to CPO it though. Doesn't seem to be included. I'd say $85K or they throw CPO in with asking price.

Most buyers are looking for garage queens, so lower-mileage 911s are in much higher demand.

You can go full nerd and play with permutations of what you will buy ('14 with X miles) vs what you will have three years later ('12.5 with Y miles) to get an idea of projected depreciation. My guess is that buying a higher-mileage car will result in less depreciation.

Find a good indie shop if you want to minimize maintenance costs.

PSE and paddles are "must have" options, regardless

Good luck. Keep us posted. As you've seen, finding a car close to ones "wish list" isn't easy. Depends how flexible you are.

I'm in the camp of liking very low mileage cars. Lower mileage = better cosmetic condition most of the time. Obviously mechanically too. I'm a bit OCD with most stuff, and would rather pay $10K more for a used car with say 5K miles than one with 20K. That's just me.

I saved $30K off MSRP on my car like 3 years ago with around 2K miles and a CPO. Was $90K. I was very happy to have saved a lot off MSRP, and some additional incremental savings for more mileage wasn't a big deal for me. More importantly, found the build I wanted in my price range. Had looked at a few $100-110K cars, but wanted to be $90-$95K.

Obviously, I can't speak for everyone as there are many different opinions out there and budgets.

Like mentioned, the depreciation downside is less at the lower priced, somewhat higher mileage used cars.
