"Vroom" gets some pretty dubious reviews online... Anyone here have direct experience with them? The car looks nice, though I'm not sure I'm up for another bright yellow car.

No experience as a buyer, but I got an automated quote for selling my BMW to Vroom before taking delivery of my C2S. They were lower than Carmax by a lot. When I tried to call a live human to take them up on their offer to "beat any Carmax offer", I got transferred around and dumped into someone's voicemail. No one ever called me back. Definitely soured me on the customer service experience.

The CarFax says that the rear brake pads were replaced at 2800 miles and that the engine was "checked" at 4000 miles, cause for caution?

I'd ask details. Not like rear pads would have to be changed before the fronts. Maybe they can look into the service notes.
