HOT FOR SALE: Pick of the Week 991
Advanced
Here’s the only 991 at Carmax now. Seems like a decent deal (original sticker was $145k).

I’ve had decent luck with Carmax, purchasing 2 vehicles, but these were beaters for me and the wife. But great experience both times. YMMV.

Thanks for checking. Description stated this and I didn’t check with VIN
$105k surprisingly is a good deal for today’s market. Other 2019 T’s are listed at about $110k and up. The cheapest 2018’s are around $98k- $100k.

The appeal with the T to me is that it can be specced with ceramics and lwb. The lesser optioned T’s just don’t do it for me. I know they are “rare” but not special with the small brakes and everything else pretty the same
Burning Brakes
no ceramics for me, I did get the buckets however due to the rear seat delete and rarity of the option. I couldn’t imagine the ceramics making a difference for how I use the car (other than aesthetic and brake dust wise).
Ya I get it. It’s a pricey option. But it looks so much better with the 410mm rotors, no brake dust, amazing feel. But I understand. To each their own
Can I get an opinion on this buy? https://www.carmax.com/car/20423374

I think the price @ 74k is a couple of grand below current market . Is it better to spend say another 8k and find a newer car?

Apparently so did whoever reserved it - assuming it wasn't you. Generally speaking, CARMAX seems to have the best pricing on 991s, so when a car gets posted on their site, it's usually gone within an hour. Their 7-day return policy makes it relatively easy to reserve one as soon as it appears, hopefully spend no more than a couple hundred bucks on shipping, then have a PPI and return it if the car doesn't meet your expectations.

Newer car? This one has <4,000 miles/year. How much newer do you want!
wow, this is the highest optioned .1 GTS I have ever seen.... $169k sticker. Porsche Warrington asking $150k, 20k miles 7MT. https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...9860/overview/
