One that had 128k msrp just sold for 111k with only 1100 miles. Same color. Yes, nuts!

From what I've seen, 2015 CPO GTS's are going for 15-20 off MSRP. And 2016 CPO GTS's are going for 10-15 off MSRP.

Here's a 2016 GTS that is 19k off sticker. Great build too. Full leather/alcantera, PASM, burmeister, LED, CF goodies. And PDK. Why couldn't this one be manual???

Yes, yes, can't get too complacent!!

Surprisingly, the used cars aren't flowing in. I would have expected more this time of year. I think a lot of 991.1 owners like what they have. Quite a few guys looking at 991.1's too now that prices are in the $70K range for nice base models and not much higher for S models in the 20K mileage range.

The 991.2's seem to be attracting another crowd. Obviously, you'll get guys trading to a new car, but I think there may be two different camps here from what I see. I've never seen many of the guys posting on the 991.2 thread on RL before.

I think it will come down to NA fans vs. forced induction ones. Sorry, I won't be participating in the forced induction market.

Very Nice - interesting how Carmine red can look so different giving different lighting conditions (seems to me guard red is more consistent from a photo to another). Only one more day to wait!

Yes Carmine Red is just fantastic in bright sun too, especially with those GTS black accents. Hoping to get "the call" today giving the 1 day advance planning for the delivery.

Hey HLVG, did your GTS get loaded onto the truck yesterday?

Exciting times guys!

Paul, I dropped your name on the "Anyone ordered Carmine Red" thread that started yesterday. Look down a few posts. I'm sure they'd like to see pics upon delivery (as would we).

I'm glad forum members are adding deals on base 911s (which are amazing cars) but I think the original point of the "Hot for Sale" thread was to showcase heavily optioned 2012.5-2014 911 S models. I know it's being nit-picky but 20k off a brand new car is nothing like getting 40-50k off a Carrera S with PDK, sports chrono, sport exhaust, etc. Call me a purist but I'm a strict follower of STG's philosophy for this thread.

I hate when dealers advertise as "new". This car has over 6K miles. A "company car". Other words, shi* beat out of it.

I didn't realize that was the beginning for the thread. But it certainly was the beginning of my learning about what was out there and what I wanted to look for in a car. And following this thread has been a crucial piece of that process for me. So this year has been very well spent for me in learning about the these cars while my status has evolved from early lurker to active buyer, where I am now.

thanks for being a loyal follower here.

There's a lot to know about these cars and even more on being an educated buyer! I was looking for a year myself before my car came along. Missed a few during that time too.
