We can always get a 997.1 cab down the line if we want a fun 4-seater. The GT4 is pretty special: I agree with her there.

For $5K more, IMHO it is a no-brainer to opt for the 2017 S with similar mileage a few posts above... S- power, S-brakes, SPASM, full Sport package (which includes RWS and Sport Chrono in addition to the sport exhaust), more leather, $21K higher sticker, etc.
I love used 991.2 base Carreras, but largely for their value. When the creep up in price to about what an S will run, not so much.
Yes and for not much more than $4k, all said and done, assuming the S already has SC and PSE, the 991.2 C2S can be upgraded with X51 PowerKit. Takeoff S turbochargers should be worth around $3k for Base and T owners looking to move up with a tune. Suncoast has a sale on the X51 kit right now, and just installed an X51 PowerKit for a pal for $1000. It's a great dealer-installed upgrade for 991.2 S owners, as it comes with full factory warranty and gives full GTS output power and torque along with improved rear brake cooling.

It was posted above, but I didn't get any firm interest, so I decided to pull the ad and give it to the dealer.

No kidding. When we got this and planned on keeping it long-term, we were planning to go the X51 route. It is much less intensive than the X51 on the 9A1!

Nice 991.1 for sale. Looks like a real enthusiast build. Sport Design, PSE, S-PASM, SC, PDK. I love white with the Ducktail and Sport Design front bumper.

It's the Base 991.2 I've been waiting for.
Premium Plus, Bose, glass sunroof, PDK, 19" wheels, CPO one owner, 16k miles, clean history. That's it.

Theyre asking $81k but feel that's inflated. What do you think is a fair price?

2017 991.2 C2

For that car with those miles, I wouldn't pay more than $70k, as you should be able to get it for less than 70% of MSRP, posted below.

For less than 20 grand more, you could have this one, from me (with fewer than 16k miles and it's local to PM Porsche):

Thanks for that. I'm only in the market for 2017+ however

SC isn't on your must have option list?

My 991.1 has SC and won't miss it. Won't have to worry about the dynamic engine mounts failing if I keep the car a longer period, I never use Sport Plus, and the car is fast enough without launch control. It is unnecessary for me using it as a daily driver around Atlanta.

I would, perhaps, add PSE to this one. My car has it now and it's sort of nice, I guess. Don't think it's as life changing some like to make it out to be, however.

I thought the dynamic mounts were part of PDCC not SC. Certainly provides a lot more options since that isn't a must have for you! I just recall 991.1S test drives I took before I bought my manual transmission - enjoying the responsiveness of paddles much better in sport plus mode than normal or sport.

Yes, dynamic engine mounts are SC equipment.

Manual shifts in Sport Plus certainly are more aggressive/firm but, again, unnecessary IMO for spirited city driving, lol.
