I have a 2018 GTS w/zunnsport grill and am putting the Skene short ones on. Only, concern is that the screws seem awful small, has anyone had a problem with the plate falling off?

I bought the tow hook mounting device, but I only use it when I drive in problematic areas where the chances of being ticketed are high. It takes less than a minute to mount the plate.

Here are some photos of the Skene front license plate bracket installation. The green dots were placed on there just to help orient the brackets. You will also notice some extra clear adhesive bumpers attached at some possible touch points. Those were not in the kit, although two were supplied. Follow the video instructions, measure twice, drill once. It's super easy:

I just installed Skene brackets as well on my '19 GTS. The extra short ones worked perfect. Yes, measure twice and drill once. I used a small manual drill that I purchased online. Worked like a champ.

I'm thinking of getting the Skene too. Can you have the plate lower? I kind of like that look.

I tried to make it lower by dry mounting it on the lower chin, but the plate stuck out too far from the front of the bumper for my taste.

Hmm...I got mine pretty low. Also curved the plate a bit to go with the contour of the bumper on the ends....that's not shown tho!

I have a 2019 C2 on order. In communication with the folks at Skene they seem unsure as to whether their mount will work because of horizontal black grille on front of car. Looks like you have same grille and it works for you? Which Skene mount did you get? What drill did you use and where did you get it?

Thanks very much

The Skene works great, and you don't have to worry about being stopped on your way home from dinner after sharing a special bottle of wine with your wife. Be careful, avoid a stop if possible.

Folks at Skene are great. They'll give you a full refund if you are not completely satisfied. I didn't have any problems with the black grille...not an issue at all. I got the extra short ones. The brackets come with a drill bit and that's what I used. I purchased a hand drill set on Amazon and it works like a champ:
