Then there of those of us that still have the issue of the ACC sensor … wouldn't be nice if the ACC could see through license plates

While I'm currently running without the front plate, I'm back to seriously considering the Rho-Plate V2 and I'm exploring the idea of using the extender version with the extender arm angled toward the center of the car along the ridge of the bumper (as opposed to dropping down over it) … I'm chatting it over with the folks at Rho-Plate to see if this would be feasible.

It's amazing to me that I have not been able to find a solution for my 2019 Targa 4 GTS with parking sensors.
Never had this issue on dozens of cars I've had including previous Porsches, Ferrari's etc.

I ordered the Short ones from Skene, they were a nightmare to install (look completely different than the ones in your picture). Fooled around for about four hours till finally got them to work (with the use of several washers). Guess I should have ordered the extra short but didn't know better and didn't think to tell Skene of my problems. Can't blame Skene for me ordering the wrong one, but be careful as to which ones you order.

Something like this wouldn’t work for you?

Please indicate exactly which product this is … it looks like the Rho-Plate solution and if so, I'm interested in knowing which version it specifically is since I'm also interested in placing the extender at an angle just as shown.

Thanks, Brad

Agreed but my question is exactly which version of the mount did he use? For instance, the length of the bolt sticking out from the tow hook mounting point can be different by mount version ... for the 911 Turbo, the bolt is 14mm longer than for the regular 911 Carrera version. I sent a note to the Rho-Plate folks to see if they can identify the exact mount being used in this case.

Sorry for the delay - as indicated above it's the rho-plate:Porsche 911 (991) 2012-2018 rho-plate V2 × 1, Extender version (with parking sensor)

Not pretty, I know, but it works! Tried putting it off as long as I could, but I got a ticket after only 6 weeks running with no plate, so I had to get something.

@fueledbymetal Thanks ... I asked the folks at Rho-Plate and they immediately confirmed that it was the regular kit with extender so I placed an order for the same unit plus they are including an extra lock washer to use since I'll be looking to use the extender bar set at an angle.

I was considering getting this type of universal bracket and attaching it to the black plastic slat portion of the front bumper. Any thoughts on how sturdy this will be?

I'm using the US Mill Works lightened + quick release package. Happy with it so far. The build quality is excellent. I don't have parking sensors, so don't have to worry about that...
