She should get a cc, but doesn’t have to under certain conditions.

Florida generally allows a person 18 years of age or older to possess a concealed firearm within the interior of a private vehicle, without a license, if the firearm or other weapon is securely encased or is otherwise not readily accessible for immediate use.

In Criminal Law, criminal intent, also known as mens rea, is one of two elements that must be proven in order to secure a conviction (the other being the actual act, or actus reus). Some jurisdictions further classify intent into general and specific.
His wife will be fine assuming she didn't know it was there,

I've noticed that if you're not in Park (obviously PDK) and you open a door, the parking brake automatically pulls itself.. Annoying because I line myself up with a line on the ground when parking. I guess it's so if you forget to put it in park and try to get out, the car doesn't fly off on it's own.

I do have to align with a line in my parking garage as well. The right side mirror does it for me. I don't even have the programmable seats so the mirror does not tilt itself. Still able to park exactly on the line without opening a door.
I wonder what are you doing differently?

Me too! Luckily, I garage the car at home so I just put down a 2x4 to stop the car at the designated spot.

OK I did another video testing the PDK "facts" mentioned in this thread. My car does NOT apply the parking brake when I open the door. Is there a particular sequence of events that I'm doing differently?

@RP4S911 what year is your car? I wonder if it changed. Mine is a 2012.5.

Mine is a '15. I watched your video. Maybe the factor is that when I stop I'm on an pretty decent grade incline in the driveway. Still in gear, open the door to check my lineup on the ground, then can't move because the parking brake came on. May be a hill / hold type situation so it doesn't roll back on me if I step out now that I think about it. (?)

Sounds like the Hill feature where if on an incline car will go into Hill mode so it does not roll back. Maybe??

Try motion activated laser beam parking assist. Invisible to all until time to park the car.

I thought everyone knew that. Apparently not.
If the original owner didn’t check the box for the “free” smokers package and the second owner adds it later it requires completely removing the center console including the metal support frame, shifter and PCM to install the new wiring harness that powers the 12V socket and LED dimmable light. I wanted the finished look and the convenience of the additional 12V socket and the “free” package after the fact cost about $200 and several hours of my labor to add because Porsche saved $1 not including the additional two wires in the non smokers package harness. The same Porsche logic applied when adding PSE and having to remove the drivers seat and half of the interior to run a wire that could have been included in the original wiring harness.🤔

Thanks for watching!!

Definitely could be. The hill hold light should illuminate on the dash when that happens...it just says "HOLD" and is inside the analog speedometer on the left.

Right. That might come up (never noticed), then the parking brake engages as soon as the door is open. I'll have to take note the next time. I 100% have to disengage the parking brake with the button though to move forward again. It's not when parking in a garage, it's when I park in the driveway. I have a 3car-wide driveway and I like to line up the tires with one of the lines/dividers to make sure I give room for any doors opening on the other side.
