I have slowly been making a few videos to "validate" (not because I don't trust you all, I just thought it'd be fun) some of the amazingly cool things mentioned in this thread! I love these little known tidbits, thank you all for sharing them.
Here are a couple:

If you bought a 991 in 2020, you can sell it in 2021, for more $$$, regardless of mileage.

With a 7MT, when in reverse and the clutch is pushed in, the engine speed is limited to a low rpm, I recall about 1500 rpm.
I found this out by accident when I had to reverse up steep hill and had problems modulating the throttle and clutch.

I don't think this one has been mentioned, but the brake fluid reservoir is very thoughtfully designed and has a little lip around the edge of it so that if the cap leaks or you spill, it get caught there and you can easily wipe it up. Discovered that during my last brake change.

Confirmed a few more things mentioned in this list with regard to the rear brake lights.
However, I could not get the rear brake lights to flash during a panic stop despite repeated attempts. Have anyone confirmed that or is it only on euro-spec cars?

There were a couple of post very early in this thread about seeing the spoiler action in the driver’s mirror. This old guy has been behind the wheel for more than 60 years & I can tell you that if you can see the spoiler, you also see the fender & have a major blind spot !

Flashing brake lights and hazards on when you come to a stop after an emergency braking is absolutely a feature on ROW spec cars. I see it at trackdays all the time. If you have PIWIS or other diagnostic hardware you can try to change the country of origin to Germany and try again. It might just be a software enabled feature.
