Has anybody figured out if you can get the brake lights to flash with the pedal being pressed once?

Got one, it's defective. Something inside must have a loose solder joint or something. Won't power up unless the housing is seriously pressed-upon. Tried in three different vehicles to the same effect. Not the pins in the connector itself, something inside. And it appears to be plastic-welded shut so it's not like I could open it and fix the problem. Other ODB dongles work fine, both straight into the port or using a short extension. It's not the sockets.
Now I have to jump through the hoops of getting it replaced.

Just ordered one with a cheap Galaxy Tab. Will give it a try this weekend.
Want to code the windows up/down with the key for my 991 as well as the roof up/down on my 997 cab.
Thanks

Very interested to try accessing the over rev report on 991.2 GT3, and also to see if the instrument cluster can be coded to have the track TPMS that some cars lost a few years ago (https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-...uitn-mode.html).

I would like to try recoding a few things on my 991.1.
There are a couple of different versions of the tool on Amazon with a pretty broad range of prices. Which is the best/most cost effective? Is the basic $119 version with an iPhone usable for a starter setup?
Thanks in advance.

what does setting Comfort functions--Comfort functions via door lock" (At the very bottom) Set to true do? I have done this on my 718 without setting Comfort functions--Comfort functions via door lock" to true and it works fine. However I can’t figure out what Comfort functions--Comfort functions via door lock" does. Do you know?
If you can get it working without either #3 or #4, then let us know.

OK - I am getting started on this.
First question: Does any one of the experts know if I can program the Start/Stop-annoyance to "default off" when starting the car, instead of "default on" as it is right now?
Thank you!

Supposedly there's no setting to disable it entirely, but it can be configured to remember 'last setting' and to change the last setting default to being off. I think it's in the AC settings for Eco mode?
