When you mention "disassembly of the motorized wing" is the wing completely disabled,
or can it still be raise by the console button?
Coding out the auto activation is easily done.

This Ducktail will attach to the existing Wing base piece. Felt this was the best way to go for several reasons. The wing assembly consists of three components 1. base, 2.motor and raising elements and 3. the wing with included brake light. The motor and raising assembly are separated from the base which retains its attachment points to rear structure of car. All existing procedures for bumper cover removal, light change etc. are unchanged. Attachment of the Ducktail is taken from the 991.1 with it sliding into clips at the rear and bolting down at the front. The 991.1 required a new base for the Ducktail.
You could repurpose the console button for "Ejection Seat" a la James Bond's DB5.

Am currently looking closely (literally) at the front air shutter assembly with the idea of making it go away (like GTS).
I had the same experience, so after 5 and a half years of nagging, I finally decided to take the project on.
Met with the Composites company developing a 991.2 Ducktail on Friday. The molds should be under construction soon.

As a bit of market survey, what would preferences be between: 1. Clear Carbon Fiber, 2. Carbon Fiber in primer or 3. Fiberglass in primer for $250 less than Carbon Fiber pricing (currently undetermined)?
As currently proposed this Ducktail would use the existing baseplate and center mounted brake light which would require disassembly of the motorized wing. The disassembly took me 30 minutes the first time I did it.
The alternative would be to source the baseplate and light from a recycler.
Updates in the not-too-distant future.
For mounting, I wonder if the 991.1 OE ducktail baseplate would work for. Then you wouldn’t have to disassemble OE mechanical spoiler.
Its only like a $200 part
The person I sold my 991.1 OE ducktail kit to installed it on a 991.2 GT3 successfully

This made my day! Ready to buy one as soon as it’s available. I’m fine with fiberglass or carbon fiber, don’t mind paying more for carbon fiber. Primered is fine since I’d paint body color no matter the material.
This is great news! I’d definitely stick with primer carbon fiber. The OEM spoiler is a brick back there and anything to also help remove weight is always a plus. For some reason I thought the whole spoiler was attached to a large metal plate which added to the weight. I agree with @4 Point 0 , this ducktail needs to be more than for looks and could use the extra lip as shown in his pictures above. You might also want to reach out to @Grantsfo who has been on a weight saving rampage and would probably have great ideas on the attachment point. Might as well make this ducktail to be the end-all-be-all solution! “Build it and the they will come”!
Since I didn't reply in thread - agree Cabon Fiber in Primer.
Also would need to work on a stock GTS not just other variants...at least for me. I am not sure if the GTS attachment etc is any different than Base or S models.

Looked at the 991.1 mounting base but 1. It doesn't have the engine grill latch mechanism integrated like the 991.2 base and 2. it would need to be substantially modified to allow for airflow to intercooler ducting. Also don't think it has holes for rear light bolts.
Went down to the company making the molds last week and saw the mold-positives being milled in the CAM unit. Plan to go down early next week for a follow-up. Creeping along.
