Wow. that customized bespoke Ducktail is sublime. Like Al Pacino said in one of my fav movies "Heat". "SHE'S GOT A GREAT ***!!!!" Also, I can't help think you could monetize your efforts by mass producing to the masses of 991.2 owners.

The version from Suncoast is too tempting! But I like the carbon fiber one that was added to my 991.2 before I purchased it in July. It matches well, is understated, and has just enough pop. Maybe someday I'll get an upgraded ***. Or just ride the one I married.

I started with this from a guy in Canada (eBay item number 154982079856 seen in the first picture below). He has one left. He claimed that it did not need modification but the temperatures were too high without the mods. Basically a worthless wing for a 991.2 unless you let it deploy via oem deployment which caused too much drag and was unsightly when deployed. It looked really stupid when that ducktail went up at 78 mph and when it was hot. After back and forth with the seller, I decided to keep it and modify it. The vents are needed. Don’t underestimate how much air these turbos need under stressed circumstances! Things can get hairy quickly if you don’t vent them the right way. I added two photos off of websites that sell tech art spoilers and the difference between the 991.1 (yellow) and 991.2 (green) is the added air vents. The pics show the rear spoiler air vent on the green, and there is one on the front of the spoiler as well just not seen in this picture.

Yes it’s a panel and was told for the 991.2 it is vented. Was just showing a picture of the black panel that comes with 991.1. This blue one is a 991.1 the way the louvers look. I should have been more specific. Sorry!

Blue one is 991.2. Look at the tail lights. The sculpted 3D look, not a flat piece of plastic like 991.
