Custom Ducktail 991.2
On their website they state:
I remember a previous poster stating that there is not a way to rid of the error code even with a fuse removed?
The installation is carried out using the original factory screw points. For operation as a fixed rear spoiler, the automatic spoiler lift function must be deactivated by simple coding.

Might have been me. I was talking to someone locally with TechArt Wing II. They were saying that even with the special wiring device under the passenger seat and setup in back that -eventually- they threw an error code. Stating that with sunroof open, heat etc... the ECU was still trying to access the wing... BUT....
That said. I chatted the other day online with someone who had a "professional" install. They said they have zero codes/issues with their techart wing. So.,.. it might be a matter of some info that is not widely known... or it could just be the first person I chatted with initially and their DIY install had something funky. Apparently TAG Motorsports in Los Angeles has done a lot of, and is a distributor for TechArt. And it sounds like their installs are clean and work properly. So... it must be possible after all. But I do not know the steps to do it. So who knows... maybe the speed based wing is enough? Or maybe there is some other ECU setting. It will be interesting to see as first buyers of these .2 ducktails come online to see what the actual user experience is...
