Are you seeing warning light with the fuse out?

Yes when I go above 70. I get a warning. I have the dealership coding next week.

On a positive note the temperatures have been normal though normal and hard driving. Took a picture during normal driving.

IAT's are a better indicator of how much, if any, your modified eBay ducktail is affecting your car.

Maybe we can stay on topic with OP’s development of the custom duck tail?

I use Torque app to monitor IATs and various other sensors/items

Getting very close to getting first production run of 5 to the painter for primer. When that is done an announcement will follow.
When I started I thought this would be a six month project. I was wrong.

On their website they state:

The installation is carried out using the original factory screw points. For operation as a fixed rear spoiler, the automatic spoiler lift function must be deactivated by simple coding.

I remember a previous poster stating that there is not a way to rid of the error code even with a fuse removed?

Might have been me. I was talking to someone locally with TechArt Wing II. They were saying that even with the special wiring device under the passenger seat and setup in back that -eventually- they threw an error code. Stating that with sunroof open, heat etc... the ECU was still trying to access the wing... BUT....

That said. I chatted the other day online with someone who had a "professional" install. They said they have zero codes/issues with their techart wing. So.,.. it might be a matter of some info that is not widely known... or it could just be the first person I chatted with initially and their DIY install had something funky. Apparently TAG Motorsports in Los Angeles has done a lot of, and is a distributor for TechArt. And it sounds like their installs are clean and work properly. So... it must be possible after all. But I do not know the steps to do it. So who knows... maybe the speed based wing is enough? Or maybe there is some other ECU setting. It will be interesting to see as first buyers of these .2 ducktails come online to see what the actual user experience is...
