@Tom@TPC Racing, curious if this latest calibration might improve occasional porpoising in a 991.2 Carrera with TechArt springs, and whether it can be uploaded to an older version of DSC?

It doesn't happen all that often, and is usually worst on bad freeway transitions, but the damping variable is just enough to diminish confidence on bumpier back roads. Been looking for an attractive solution for this (short of Tractive) for a while now, and it would be amazing to address or at least improve the porpoising within DSC if at all possible. Suspension is otherwise fantastic for a daily.

Great question. Yes, the newer DSC controller(2021+) has more advanced velocity function. This is a great feature for cars with lowering springs by selectively adding damping force to calm oscillation for high frequency bump events. 2021+ is a hardware change on the controller.

Has the link for calibration files been removed? I can't find it anymore.

Posting mine up for sale as well: https://rennlist.com/forums/market/1354943

Loaded with the GT3 Touring map, Loved this mod, would consider it essential for any 991 non-GT car.

If you bought it new the calibration file should already be installed on the DSC. I believe they lol ship with the RS file.

Im sure Tom at TPC can get you the file you need. Just reach out they are really helpful.

not sure why they took down the links unless they had an issues with people installing the files for the wrong cars then calling in with complaints.

I just wanted to see them so I could compare various base setups.

Hi,

I have 2017 911 Turbo with stock KW adjustable coil-over springs car is lowered is very stiff on the normal mode.

Will this give me more comfort since the car is lowered on KW springs in normal mode?

Absolutely. I'm on TechArt springs and it was extremely firm on Sport PASM mode to the point where it was uncomfortable for just driving around, and my Normal felt like stock 911's with Sport PASM on. After the DSC controller, my car feels incredibly smooth in both modes, and only firms up to the track feel when you need it / use it. Still hard to believe that something can make your car drive smoother/softer AND firmer at the same time when you decide to drive it hard. Always in PASM Sport now, no need to switch back and forth.

@Tom@TPC Racing Will Porsche specific DSC controllers have wifi capability (for suspension tuning) any time soon?

Well, it’s not pretty, but it sort of does already.

I had my laptop plugged into DSC. My laptop was hot spotted to my phone. Then a guy in another state was zoomed connected to my computer with control of my mouse. So as I was driving, he was watching in real time and making adjustments.

Having a controller that would allow live adjustments to velocity would be great.

I am not aware of any further development for this application. But I also don't get all the info. I am on need to know basis.
