Funktionperformance.com confirmed their badges are not oem but rather "bespoke." They use OEM hardware. They comfirmed that they get their badges from aasesales.com and other sources also.

So glad I came across this thread and then learning about aasesales.com. I decided to gamble on AASE Sales and I'm glad I did. The badge quality is totally acceptable to me, and best of all, I had it delivered to Canada less than 2 weeks after ordering.

Had it installed at the same time as new PPF to replace the original 9 year old film!

Wonder what is good price for used, in need of repaint crests. I painted one in American flag colors (chipped up paint now) and I had another original that the finish (varnish?) was yellowing. I removed all down to the chrome and repainted. I baked in oven and hopefully finish will stay on. I wanted the color to match the black Porsche on rear:

I bought two of his amazing black crests a few years ago and one just broke, I would live another one..

He ghosted a couple of us about 2 years back. We have written letters, etc. and no replies at all. If you can reach him somehow please post here; however, the only way that might be possible is knocking on his door in MD.
