Good luck. I exchanged 2 separate emails with him over a 6 month period trying to get a matching hood crest, wheel caps, and an airbag crest. I understand everyone can be busy from time to time, but this guy is such an amazing talent and disappointment at the same time.

It's been over a year since I sent this $500. Truly a shame that someone would take my hard earned money and not feel a responsibility to at least reach out and let me know they could not deliver the goods promised.
Please let this be a warning for anyone digging up this old thread...caveat emptor.

Bummer, I tried contacting him recently to no avail.
Please let us know if you find an alternative option, I would like something similar for my silver T.
I’m contemplating buying a couple crests and trying to refinish myself - sounds like there is a market for these…

NOT an endorsement, have not purchased from him. But he appears to be doing limited batches of the hood crests. I asked about sets and he said stay tuned.

They look like the ones from this place, which are no where near the quality that Jim makes: https://www.aasesales.com/collections/badges-crests

I meant no disrespect to you Bob, you are sharing your experience and I am sharing mine.
I have purchased handmade items from craftsmen all over the world. I cherish them more than as parts, they are expressions of that persons amazing talent. In this way, I understand your praise.
Unfortunately I must also add, talent, while rare and beautiful, is no excuse for lack of honor. A man is only as good as his word and deed.
