Thanks-I for those wondering, I believe you can make the 991.2 gt3rs side skirts fit using the same/similar procedure, however I prefer the lower profile of the 991.1 gt3rs skirts. (If someone wants to send me a set of 991.2 gt3rs sills I will be more than happy to chop them up and see how they work)! Also, I did not use any grout/caulk/filler for any gaps between the skirt and body. The gaps are VERY small and not noticeable enough for me to do anything with.

Forgot to ask, what’s your measured ground clearance on the sides now? Is it a significant difference?

No difference in clearance-they sit at the same level as the bottom of the sill, just further out.
