Narrow body?
I was able to use the white clips that came with the side skirts and drill into those instead of the body, but I still had to drill into the rear mud flap. Also this was done using the 991.2 GT3RS side skirts. These seem to come out about half an inch more than the 991.1 versions.
Is that on a narrow body 991?
Trying to choose between .1 and .2 GT3RS side skirts. Mine is a narrow body.

Although it's not an official retrofit from Porsche, you should be good to go with just the side skirts listed above! We'd recommend reading through the threads posted by others that have already done this for additional information/tips/tricks on this project. Thanks!

Sourcing gt3rs side skirts in Europe
Hi,
I can't find them at reasonable price here in Europe.
As an example, txxle.com who usually got reasonable prices wants 313 Euros (350-370 usd) each !!
If you found the side skirts for a fair price in EU, please let me know !
Best regards JP

If the tabs are cut off the top, how secure is that upper face? Does it flex at all without the tabs? I wonder what kind of aero load it sees at 100+ mph and if that would cause flex in that face.

I used double sided tape where I could. When I pushed down, the side skirt felt solid.

Finally pulled the trigger and did the install, it's pretty straight forward with great directions from the OP! Thanks Polobai for pioneering this mod.
I actually didn't need to use the screws and washers as I was able to use the OEM fasteners, I just needed to modify the holes to align the factory mounting points.
Essentially I just used the OEM Torx screw in the front and the Speednut and screw on the rear to get the right arrangement and used small scissors to carve out the sideskirts holes to align them with the factory mounting points on our narrow body car and used the included fasteners. Everything feels super sturdy.

I did this mod last year and didn't like the fit and finish as I'm **** when it comes to my cars so I ended up buying a set of Maxton Design sides which fit perfect. You do need to drill into the body of the car but I only used four on each side and it's rock sold. I'll post a picture once I find one

Now that the Yen has dropped to the USD, you can get the Kohlenstoff ones for about $1500.....I am very tempted.

$1572 to be exact! I just wonder what the shipping charges would be and the lead time to get them as I wouldn't mind the front splitter & sides in CF!
