the part number of the more subtle one is

Do you have a picture of the one with Targa side skirt? Interested to see the differences.

Finally pulled the trigger and did the install, it's pretty straight forward with great directions from the OP! Thanks Polobai for pioneering this mod.

I actually didn't need to use the screws and washers as I was able to use the OEM fasteners, I just needed to modify the holes to align the factory mounting points.

Essentially I just used the OEM Torx screw in the front and the Speednut and screw on the rear to get the right arrangement and used small scissors to carve out the sideskirts holes to align them with the factory mounting points on our narrow body car and used the included fasteners. Everything feels super sturdy.

I’ll be attempting this over the weekend. I just propped it up and the contour looks perfect. Fingers crossed.

My conclusion is that it’s by no means a straight swap. You have to mess with it quite a bit to get it sitting right. I have a bit of a gap in the front and rear and I’m contemplating caulking it. Someone talk me out of it

Did you add all the screws as described in the posts? If so the front should have virtually no gap and the rear will have a slight gap. In my case the gap was not enough to worry with on my car-your situation may be different.

No, I didn’t want to drill into the metal and the 90degree corner that would cling to the front fender was too much of a stretch so I let it be.

the challenge now is to figure out if I’m going to put the fender liner over the skirt so it doesn’t catch with the wind. I tried that initially and the front edge begins to separate too much...

I'm pretty confident that if I caulk it, I can take it off with some RTV remover in the future.

Give it a shot-caulk is easy enough to remove. The other option is to use the black trim that goes in between fender liners which can be found on eBay.

Try to search eBay for fender flare edge trim. There are many types-not sure which will work best.

Do I need anything else to make this work on my 991.2 S?

So purchase the 2x 991.2 GT3RS side skirts you’ve linked in your post above and then modify them as per the OP, and that’s it? Do I need any other parts to make this work?

Although it's not an official retrofit from Porsche, you should be good to go with just the side skirts listed above! We'd recommend reading through the threads posted by others that have already done this for additional information/tips/tricks on this project. Thanks!
