Curious if anyone has found this exact spec of wheel:

Black leather, PDK, No MF, No Heat, Black inserts w/ screws, black trim, carmine red stitching, carmine red indicator. I found an auction with a similar wheel but in manual so I think it might exist somewhere! Suncoast has it without indicator in red https://www.suncoastparts.com/produc...T39912LEA.html thinking it's the closest I'll find.

The unicorn I've been searching for:

Wow, that's a killer looking wheel. It would work really well with my GTS interior.

The black trim and inserts are available on Suncoast, but I've yet to see a black leather wheel with the carmine red stitching and center stripe. I want to say there is a 991 GT3RS wheel that is similar, but in alcantara and possibly in a different red.

Do you have a link to the auction of the manual wheel?

The wheel hardware itself is universal. That is, the metal frame and the outer wrapping (leather, alcantara, carbon).

The rest varies based on trim/features. They're all added onto that basic frame. The basic metal/leather is the same regardless of manual/pdk. Those are down to the rear cover. Manual has a closed cover, PDK has openings for the paddles. Likewise the front cover, plain or with the dial wheel. Then there's the inserts that go into the spokes. These then also vary based on the finish (black/silver and possibly others). I believe there's some variance on how the clock spring contacts the wheel based on features (but I'm not certain). So it seems like there's potential for a mix-and-match once you find the ideal outer covering.

I bought new steering wheel 991.2 to replace my old 991.1 steering. and when i tried to installed, i think i was to happy about it
and i broke the clock spring accidently
i went to local shop here in my country they said if you buy new/used clock spring you need to reprogram it.. and I found only one shop to do so and asked for 300$ to do so..
is there a away to do it at home..
i read on the net that i can programmed via some Chinese website for $100 and then i can use that code to install it..
can someone please guide me.. it would be much appreciated.
thanks

I think you only need to calibrate it and it can be done using thinkdiag as one of the service options.

Did you break your "old" clock spring? or the "new" one?
In any case, If you are adding new options (heat / multifunction controls) by installing the 991.2 steering wheel you need a (new) clock spring that has these options.
If you are not adding new options, you only need the GPS adapter.
IIRC a new clock spring is $300 so I'd suggest getting a new clock spring (if necessary) & skipping the shops.

I broke the old one, and i don't need gps adapter cause its chinese steering wheel, just plug & play plus i already have all options..

the problem now if i want to install new clock spring i need to reprogram it with my vin number otherwise the car wont accept it..
thats all shop told me so..

can you please point me where to buy new one for $300 ? i found on ebay new around 420 dollars code"7PP953568AP", and used one around $100.
couldnt find it on pelican/sunset websites..
thanks

Anyone with MANUAL TRANSMISSION looking to upgrade their 991.1 steering wheel to a 991.2 multifunction GT(smaller diameter) steering wheel (black, heated or not) check out my ad in the RL Marketplace. Again, MANUAL TRANSMISSION.

I replaced the clock spring on the dealer shop and then installed the new wheel
