Michelin fronts aren't good enough? Why the cross-dressing?

To tell you the truth, it was a Major cluster f@ck.

I melted the metal cords of the rear 315/30/20 TrofeoR through the tread. Needed tyres fast. No stock.

They tell me they had 305/30/20. I say go. Order and pay.
Then i find out they are McLaren spec not Porsche. McLaren are narrower. Goodyear and Cup2-R only had rear in 21 inch. But just recently released 305 in cup2-R.

Howver not knowing this, had already ordered the GY fronts. Heard good things. Then when couldn’t get TriofeoR rear, was told of cup2-R, so got those. If i had of known i probably would have gone all cup2-R. However, a few mad men i track with melted them in one track day. PB’s yes, but one track day is expensive. I hope to get three days from GY.

I’ve finally found my ****!

Tyler APR

Swan Neck

This is by far the best setup I have seen.
And it balances off the Dundon front underbody Aero which i need in my life.

Dundon

Ladies and gentleman, the completed plan of my car is in my head.

Question on the 2 photos from last year. Did you end up utilizing the LED headlights? I hear the car cannot be upgraded to LED matrix if it's not originally equipped.

I’m not sure about what you mean. I still have the same headlights the car came with. The new lights on the bar work perfectly as well. The indicators that are white running lights but flash orange when turning, all work fine.

Thanks. I’m thinking if doing Turbo’s soon.

Just waiting on more E-Motion bars to arrive from Dundon Motorsport.

Good job on the whole car. This thread turned into something I didn't expect, but very entertaining to read. Let us informed about that wing. I love a good swan neck, if it serves a purpose and not for street cred

Pole Position ABE

Changing my track seat from FIA to ABE.

The ABE is flared out slightly and takes the factory seat belt as well as the harness.

The BBI slider has failed. What a piece of ****. It has half an inch of play and rocks backward and forwards.

I’ll have to source a genuine Recaro slider. If that fails, then try and and get a Factory GT3 and use an adaptor.

I know i kill 380mm BBK and my car is fast, like you can’t imagine. But surely i can stop breaking seat mounts and sliders just from hard braking and cornering?

That's really odd with the seat sliders breaking. We use one in our racecar for years and haven't had an issue (BMW 335). We use a Momo seat, but I'm not sure which slider we use (my buddy owns a BMW shop and does all the wrenching on the car himself).
I'll find out what we're using and let you know.
