No factory interference. You can set, adjust, change, delete everything.

The first thing to go is traction control. It is replaced with a true motorsport version.

I am thinking on adding motorsport ABS later as well. The MoTeC can even run my Tractive suspension better than my DSC module.

I will be adding port injection as well, before up grading the turbo’s. The Port injection will be so i can run 100% E85 with flex fuel.

This would be a game changer, i believe the GTS has tons of potential that just hasn't been tapped into yet. I would love to further discuss if you have free time shoot me a PM I'm very limited on what i can do as i just joined this forum ill share my draggy data with you and what we have done so far.

I have run multiple 10.8 second runs at the drag strip. I am yet to see anyone else post s ten second run from the strip, despite all the bragging from APR.

COBB will continue to rule until, MoTeC.

i am Protuned and run 50/50 E85 and 98RON.

Mine has a few mods also : _

Vektor Headers
Akrapovic Cats (300 Cell)
AMS Intercoolers
DSC Module
TrackTive Coilovers
IPD Plenum
BMC Filter
COBB PDK Tune
COBB Pro-Tune
Full GT3 Front end
PWR centre Radiator
Brembo GTS BBK 380 mm front and rear
Endless ME20 Pads
Castrol SRF brake fluid
Elephant racing Adjustable bars and spherical bearings
Semi Slicks
Harness Bar
Schroth Harness
PPF

Turbo Smart BOV's.

Next up, MoTeC ECU, Recaro Podium, Maybe Catless , Akropovic Exhaust, Then V-Band them all and up grade the turbo's. Port injection, Motorsport ABS. It never ends. It's an illness I know.

I've always been crazy, but its kept me from going insane.

Nabil 3.0: I think my GTS was the first to exhibit the 3-4 shift flutter and your times and problems mirror mine.
11 sec 1/4 mile, 3 sec 0-60 and the same 3-4th shift issue with Cobb Pro Tune. There is certainly a table in there that is limiting the torque that Cobb cant figure out.

APR says they have a GTS Tune and to be honest, if they could solve the issue and produce the same massive numbers from Cobb, I would switch over.
However, they havent proven they can and no one has dyno tested AND real world shifted from 3-4th to see if the flutter still exists.
4 point 0 has 50k of additional performance parts and races his car. We are within 10ths of seconds of his car and arent running E85 so the law of diminishing returns starts to play at some point.
If the Motec ECU works, and I have no reason to think it wont, we still have the issue of having an ECU swap that will not accurately reflect the engine in the car.
Meaning, when we go to sell the car, the overrevs, engine on/off and a myriad of other details will not have been logged and I fear a buyer will think something shady has been done.

Looking for a real tuner who knows these tables to figure it out, but its been over a year and the only solution is to dial down the boost and torque numbers which kills the whole protune..

Yes, thanks. It did inspire me to hurry up and do it. Also sideways at 170km:hr through turn one and the instructor saying afterwards, you really need the Underbody Aero and the biggest mother of all wings on this thing.

🤣🤣🤣

How much money do you have in this project? Sounds like around 100k plus the msrp of your car!

Crazy but happy to see the progress reports. I am over here debating about spending 10k on wheels and suspension upgrades!

Probably. Cars are expensive in Australia.

My car retail was $345,000. A GT3 stripper is around $400. A GT3-RS $550,000. And a GT2-RS around $800,000.

So it really doesn’t matter if I get to $500K.

It’s still considerably cheaper than a 2-RS, and just as fast.

I was a skeptic at first but you converted me a while ago, to your ways. I question nothing at this point. Having a personal affinity for doing things the hard way! You're also properly thrashing your car and not just playing with it for the sake. The only question I have at this point is have the vektor headers contacted anything to date? I keep going back and forth on that. I don't mean to upset the cosmos with that question. I want headers for the subtle tonal tweak over tune/performance thresholds.

That won’t be a concern anymore as they have a newer revision that doesn’t hang low. It was only one side and it wasn’t much anyway.

I had an issue with the coating. So instead of me being without my car for months, they sent me a brand new set of the new design for free.

Great customer service. They sound great and make awesome power. Still one of my favourite mods.

Header holes? Love it. Does this custom bracket make it sit higher up? It otherwise seems that mod makes for some pretty low clearance, yes? Based on our other member who nicely installed that piece.
