Annoying Drivers
I'll play-
1. Drivers who text at stoplights and get pissed when you beep to have them move.
2. Drivers who can't be bothered to turn their lights on at night, or don't realize the lights aren't on because the dash is lit up (mostly Japanese cars).
3. Only an anecdotal observations, bur Nissans seem to be involved in a lot of newsworthy crashes. Always an Altima on the local news driven into someones house...is it just me who notices that?

I forgot about the people who don't turn their lights on... around here, its often either Honda or Toyota
Here, it is the Subaru station wagon that is the bane of all, and are followers of the John Nestor school of driving. They have a dog fence in the back, are covered with hippy stickers, and are purchased new at 10 model years old. They think 50 mph is the speed limit all should enjoy on the highway, or at least 10 mph below any posted speed limit, and they will team up and drive side by side down the highway, having rush hour traffic backed up behind them for a mile. My other ride is a full size pickup truck, and I want to install a steel cow catcher type bumper and just shove them into the ditch so others can get back to speed and onto their day.

OK, after my almost-near-death experience yesterday (see above), my least favorite annoying behavior is how most drivers speed up when being passed. This happens on two-lane highways, when the culprit driver cruises along below the speed limit, but when we finally get a passing lane, speeds up. One especially devious idiot did this 3 times today, increasing his speed from 58 to about 75 (on a 60 mph limit highway). It also happens when trying to pass using the on-coming lane. And if even happens when 2 or 3 lanes go the same way, like an interstate. My wife is much more forgiving than me, and claims that some drivers do not really watch their speedometer, and subconsciously speed up when being passed. Maybe, but I think some idiots are just being idiots--and trying to challenge any passer.

When I was younger, this would aggravate me. I would very much prefer to never pass anybody on the right. But I tend to drive faster than most on highways. I move all the way right when not passing, then move left only when I want to pass someone. The way it should be. But perpetual left-lane drivers screw it all up for everyone.
Anyway, I no longer get aggravated about it. I just learned to drive faster when passing so they don't have any chance to box me in. No anger, no stress. I just go by and continue on my way without giving them another thought.
Prius, Corolla, Camry drivers are the bain of my driving life here in the bay area. Worst drivers you see on the roads here in the bay area in general. If you wonder why there is ghost traffic in the freeway it's one of those cars in the fast lanes slowing everyone down. As they try to make the leaves grow on the dash of their Hybrid or electric cars. They also love to police the roads. It doesn't matter what type of person that drives those cars, it seems to me as the minute they get in those cars their driving brains and simple logic goes out the door.
They tend to pull out of driveways, change lanes, without looking or paying attention.
A bunch tends to stop 2 or 3 cars away from the light so, yes it doesn't trigger the light.
They don't pay attention to the freeway light entrances that have 2 cars per green light, so they go one at a time, Monkey See Monkey Do.
A bunch of accidents I've seen or issues tend to have these vehicles as part of the accident.
They don't pay attention to motorcycles filtering through traffic.
They love to go 40-50 mph in the freeway where speed is 65
I tend to see this only in the bay area for some reason as to when I go to Vegas, Hawaii, Washington, Oregon, I don't notice this much.
To makes matters worse, BayArea is chock full of Uber/Lyft drivers that don't' follow driving rules/regulations and a bunch of times drive these cars as well, so it's a double whammy. Yes, Uber/Lyft drivers are the 2nd bain of my driving life here in the bay area. Traffic, in general, has gotten a lot worse with more and more of them around.

When I drive to OC in my co-worker's car, she likes the left lane at 60-70mph. Drives me absolutely nuts but I really have to bite my tongue. I need to figure out how to tell her how wrong she is without "mansplaining" it. She's actually awesome; she just sucks at driving. She does not drive a Camry or Prius.
My biggest pet peeve.
When the light turns Yellow, they are the only one that gets to make it through & if they would have correctly pulled to the center of the intersection, 3 cars or even 4 could have gone through.
There are two behaviors that bother me the most:
1. People riding in the left lane at or below the speed limit. Colorado has a left lane law, but most drivers don’t know or care.
2. People who can’t manage to keep their car in the lane (left or right lane). The DOT in Colorado uses lots of gravel when there’s snow or ice on the road, and that stuff accumulates on the shoulders. If a driver isn’t paying attention and they veer onto the shoulder, it sprays the cars behind them with gravel. It also happens when people are merging onto the freeway and they impatiently cross the double lines to merge early. Drives me nuts.
