My family used to say the house would shake when I backed into the driveway with PSE equipped car. New car doesn’t have it and they can barely hear me. There must have been a problem

I think there is a terrific--and good--difference. PSE sounds wonderful.

This thing came in this week and I can’t wait to get it on the car. The exhaust and bmc filter will be installed on Tuesday. Its Soul Performance’s turbo back exhaust system with added sports cats.

You should hear my X51 C2S with its catless pipes. With PSE on, it sounds more like 5 L than 3L. It's awesome. When I pull into car events, a number of people come up to me, asking about what I'm driving. It doesn't sound like any other 911. It sounds as good or better than any stock Porsche, including GT cars. . Using the muffler, it sounds almost stock. This is my 4th Porsche with PSE. Ill never buy another without PSE. It adds to my driving pleasure, especially with the sunroof tilted up. '
Also, it's quite possible the PSE valves were not opening on the 991.2 you drove.

PSE is not quite enough for me, but exhausts are tricky. Too much can ruin a car, too little, it feels like you did not get your money's worth.

Do most these exhaust options work with the cars open and closed flaps button in the center console, or do they have a separate remote?

My car is a 19' Carrera T. for reference.

Thanks!

Our system is designed to work with the buttons in the car. And we use the larger 130mm HD "Directional" HJS cats. These have been around for years and we have not had any issues with them, even on big build 997 & 991 turbo cars.

Very nice!

Can anyone tell me if /how the 991.2 BMC filter can be cleaned? Seems like it would be much more difficult to clean than a flat air filter...

If its a wet filter so you need to wash it and reapply the oil after it dries. The ams dry filter you can just blow with the compressor from the inside out with a wand attachment

Sharkwerks is attractive to me because it still respects PSE, reduces some weight (not a super big deal) and increases HP some, according to their info. Obviously would need to confirm this with some dyno runs. Even though new cars don't need to have a smog for 5 years, this appears to be a nice option for us more regulated folk in California.

It would be interesting to see how much HP would be added with this and then with a sport cat, if you don't care or don't have to deal with regulations.

I actually love the idea here too, it's simple, easy and for some reason sounds more mean than a lot of the other offerings. They should do a group buy!

Resurrecting this thread to see if there are any new developments. Particularly from anyone who has had extensive experience with the Sharkwerks exhaust for our 991.2 Carreras?

God bless,
TT

I have the Sharkwerks exhaust. It is louder for sure, but not mind blowingly so. There is a small amount of drone at 2K-3K in regular and sport but none at all in sport+. I really want more sound and am debating sport cats now too, although one poster on here thought it was too much. Not unhappy with my purchase at all but realizing I may need a GT car to scratch the itch I have.
