Did you have a coolant leak/water pump replaced?
Lets get a poll going. Any water pump related repair or replacement, coolant leak etc. lets gets a count

Ha...... Water pumps have been failing ever since they were installed on a 911.

Had the overflow tank develop a leak, changed under warranty. Caught it and monitored it until I could get it into the dealer so no water pump damage.

No low level warning for me. The car was in for a pre-winter storage oil change and my indy mechanic noticed a leak. Went in to dealership for warranty replacement of the leaking pump. Saved me having to wash the car before it went up on the lift (yup, I let the dealership clean it as the previous owner did a 100% paint protection).

1988 911 - No coolant leak/water pump replacement to date. 100% guaranteed not to need it in the future
2008 Cayman - Just had the water pump replaced with clutch change due to some leakage - 75,000 miles
2014 911 - dry and no leaks.
