Can anyone confirm the part numbers in this kit? Looking for the basic black leather.

https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/9x1pdkboot.html

I believe the button panel is 991-553-651-01-A05, and the boot is 981-424-075-00-8YR

Has anyone tried an aftermarket boot yet?

I am Jim from post #180 and I was fortunate to find an OEM shift boot part #98142407500 on eBay for $79 that was in perfect condition. I ordered the lower trim piece from the dealership and the complete upgrade was less than $100. At the time I did see the aftermarket eBay boot but luckily found the stock one.

Thanks Jim from post #180. Saved $60 going with Sunset vs Suncoast after tax savings.

98142407500 == 981-424-075-00-8YR

Where did you get the leather boot with the 911 plate and the lower trim piece? I have the same color interior

I got the two parts of Suncoast. I don't have it handy, but I got it off this same string, so somewhere above will have the part number.

Shift boot mod for PDK is the best interior upgrade available. Less than $300 with a 10 min. install.

I wanted to keep the shift demarcations so went with the striped plate.

The striped plate is a pretty decent improvement in itself. I assume it's still plastic?

yes just like stock but with the stripe. Used on some GT cars but this says 911. Stripes add some interest and does not look as cheap as standard plate. I like the leather boot conversion but didn't like loosing the shift demarcations

There needs to be an “in-between “ mod that replaces only the center section with a boot.

I agree, The leather boot is better than just stock but I think it is too big and replaces too much.

Nice, I thought all the striped ones said "GT3" on them but I guess not.

To make it easier to search, the part number on Bob's invoice is 9P1-858-401-F-DRZ
