Shift boot for PDK installed.
I finally finished installing my leather shift boot for my PDK this week. I ordered the trim piece and it took 3 weeks to get the part. I want to thank Lambomike58 for the information and MJG911 for providing me the great deal on his used shift boot. If you haven't done this mod, it looks awesome and is fairly easy to do.

Looks great, glad I could help, that’s what’s great about this forum you can get a lot of information and help from members, saves a lot of guessing and headaches |
Hmm. I don't see them at Suncoast, anyone got a part # or direct link?
|
Brilliant upgrade. I fine the reflective silver on the 991's center console distracting at certain times of the day. The standard silver trim is bad, and the PDK "plate" only makes it worse.

Boot part # 991-424-075-10-8YR |
Very sharp! It’s on my to-do list. |
Any chance someone could do a diy with some pics? Someone else was nice enough to explain but I still don’t understand the steps....especially the turning the boot inside out stuff. Thanks for any help! |
Would love to do that to my 997, has anyone attempted? |

Just looking at that would make my left foot look for the clutch...
