Happy to chime in as a brand new Carrera T owner! I took delivery on it this week from Porsche West Broward. Loving the car so far! I have an AWE Switchpath exhaust ready to go on it.
Here is a 'first wash' video that I put together with the help of my kiddo. Hope you enjoy!

congrats. Great color!
Does anyone have a solution for dirt on the edges of PPF film? Especially on white paint!
Most of my edges are wrapped, but unless you completely disassemble the car there are a couple exposed edges. Alcohol and a Q Tip, soft bristled tooth brush? It just seems if it gets under the film there is no fix.

Brings back memories. My car came from West Broward. It arrived to me in the Pacific Northwest about two years and two weeks ago. I can’t say I was impressed by the long distance sales experience... but the car still delivers! Well, i think it does - haven’t seen it in a month. Hahaha

I didn't get into it in the video, but there was a thin strip under the turn signals on the front bumper that had a lot of dirt under it. Once the dirt / sand / etc gets on the adhesive then its pretty much toast. In my case I peeled it up and cut it off with a sharp knife. I will get a new strip put on that part in the future.
On my M3 I did have some success with getting some light dirt out from under the very edges, but there is no 100% guarantee that it will adhere correctly afterwards. In this case I am just going to leave it and plan to have the entire front redone in a year or two.

Car is lovely! The remote buying experience was a bit odd, but I feel like they got it down to a pretty basic process. I would like to check out their dealership in the future. The facility looks amazing.
Awesome ride! I actually was at Porsche West BROWARD in December and went back and fourth whether to purchase this car or the Racing Yellow T they had that was manual. Lava & stick being my top wants + LWBs that both have. In the end the 3 pedal was just too much fun. So happy to see this awesome Lava at a good home. Cheers
How's racing yellow to keep LOOKING clean and avoiding showing swirls and fine scratches?
I've been rocking white for 5.5 years, loving another red vehicle I have, but thinking about racing yellow to drive my kids to school on the "bus"....my area constantly bombards any car I drive with dust, dirt, moisture, pollen, etc.
Basically I refuse to own colors that are a PITA to keep looking good anymore

that's why i got GT Silver. my detailer said Guards is a PITA. GT Silver is great. When t's clean, it's a deep rich silver. When it's dirty, it's Agate! lol.
my wife refuses to have anything but a black car for her Macan. terrible.

I love Racing Yellow, having had Rhodium Silver, Platinum Silver and Carmine Red. The Racing Yellow makes me smile the most and brightens the world up, wherever it is and whatever the weather. Not bad for looking bright & cheerful, even when dirty.
