I think Jay did a really candid review of the 991 T here on this YT link. He’s driven many different P cars and be feels that the 992 is a much different experience - more closely akin to driving an R8 than our more nimble 991’s. I chose a 991 manual T, no RAS, low options and trying to keep the experience more analog.
I'm running the COBB stage 1.06 91 octane tune. Power is strong it will pull on most GT3s out of corners and keep up with them on straights. The DS 2500 pads were excellent at Seca and WSIR, both not heavy braking tracks IMO. I am using 15mm front spacers to widen the track and I adjust the front camber (move the top mount bolts inwards - 5 minute exercise) prior to HPDE events and then move them back to stock before driving home. This gives a slight toe out, better tire wear and the grip is excellent!
Not a great pic but 2 T's, a GT3RS and GT4 did a quick trip from Scottsdale to Bagdad AZ. My silver T and a friend's Miami blue T and two interlopers... some great back roads to Bagdad with little traffic. Only issue it is partly free range, and last time I was on that road a HUGE bull was just standing on the side of the road and could care less about cars!!
^^^ Forgive my ignorance, but is that a driving glove or an oven glove?
Cheers,
Alcantara is great at the steering wheel, but the grip isn't as good as leather with your bare hands. These are my karting gloves that dramatically increase grip and connection to the vehicle! It looks bulky but it's actually very soft, lightweight and ventilated because it doesn't come with a built-in fire resistant material. This picture was taking on my way to attend one of my track days at a club I am a member of. I dare anyone to try it on, and then think twice before writing sarcastic jokes!

You’re wearing giant race gloves while driving around town on the straightest road ever. You’re opening yourself up to some friendly joking with that level of irony
