Two dynos with only headers on otherwise completely stock cars. One dyno on a car with high flow cats and Cobb stage 2 off-the-shelf maps and then headers added.

Thanks for the info

I saw you got Soul headers and Softronic tune. Are you going to dyno stock, then with the tune and then again after the header install? Or dyno stock, dyno with header, and then dyno with tune added on top of header? I don't think anyone has dyno'd the Softtronic tune yet.

I did not think of doing that but I might. KellyMoss which is a few miles from my house, has a Mustang dyno I have used before. I was going to do headers myself next week, but I will see what Kelly Moss schedule is.They dyno cars for the Cup series so it is kept accurate. I guess I would do it for forum info because I don't really care about outright numbers.
I know with the tune it is faster. I have the headers uninstalled and it would answer the question, do headers themselves add any power to a tuned car without doing a protune which in itself without the addition of headers would add power

Yeah that's the risk with this coating. I went with a professional install so it has a 5 year warranty but who knows. It looks great right now though!!!!!!!!!!!!

It truly does! Here’s hoping it goes the distance! Mine never did but that’s because I’m certainly no professional and I didn’t sleep at a Holiday Inn Express before applications…
