I can't speak for Sensor - but I don't miss my GT3 after having the T. I had a 2016 PDK and 2018 Manual . 2018 got too much attention so I traded on a T at my SA suggestion while I waited for a Touring which I thought was the answer. Dealer called me last weekend as they got one in very close to my spec. I went and drove it with my checkbook at the ready and I found the T had ruined me. The GT3 / Touring is a fantastic car no doubt. 5500 RPM on it's a beast and it makes all the right sounds. But I missed the down low power of the T. The pull that starts at 2000 RPM and just keeps going. Mine is getting the stage 1 Cobb this week so that sensation will only improve. But I have to say how surprised I am that for me this T really checks the boxes and I don't miss my GT3 ( Except at the track where the GT3 is magic).
It really is amazing in how much more expensive the GT level cars are. Yes they have great drivetrains that cost more to produce. But how much more compared to the T's drivetrain? The body is generally the same as well as the interior. And the T is better for everyday livability. I've heard and read here on RL that the T is expensive for what you get, but the way I look at it is opposite. With the GT cars you're paying handsomely for performance levels that can only be achieved on the track. That is 5% of the time for most.
Does it still have the irritating (IMO) off-throttle burble?
Do you miss the power of the GT3 or grooving with the T?
Looks great!
Thanks!
It still maintains the burble, and in fact, the burbles are louder haha!
I miss the sound and experience of going to 9k rpm in the GT3, but I don't miss the PDK. As quickly as it shifts, I still felt disconnected to the car. The T with a stage 1 reflash has such a dramatic torque punch down low, it's more fun to drive in the twisties than the GT3. As someone who only does 1-2 track days a year, the T is a better choice for me.
Hi all. just received my 911 T GT silver. Amazing car. i am sad that I could only get the PDK. All my other Porsches that I have owned are Manual. First PDK. Hope i will like it.
I love what the car stand for... the minimlist look and simple lines.
This is also my first narrow body since my 964 and a '73 T.
I have owned 993 s and TT, and now still drive the 996 4s and 964 C4.
Love the handling and engine sound and performance.
i was wondering if i should have waited for the 992, but, i am glad i did not...

winter tire set on 911 t.
Very nice! Congratulations. Love the pictures with the snow piles in the background.
Went for a nice long drive today. Bright early Spring sunshine makes the racing yellow pop. I can't seem to get a good representation of the yellow on my cell cam though.

Looks great! I'm curious, where did you get those wheels? I've never seen those before & they aren't listed on the Porsche configurator online. Very interesting.
This is from a drive a Sunday night drive a few weeks ago. I really do love the way this car looks.
The beauty of simplicity! Mine is the same color, freshly de-striped. I’m thinking of deleting the “911 Carrera T” badges, as well... do you have a good rear pic to share?
