I spent a TON of time and money lightening my E90 330. I ended up cutting 180lbs. off the car and had full interior and rear seats.

These were the significant weight savings for the car:
CF hood, roof and trunk (note: sunroof doesn't cut as much weight as you'd think - you have to install a pretty large cross bar from the factory that adds in weight. Total savings was only 15lbs.)
Wheels and tires - 8 - 9 lbs. per wheel even though I went wider
Four wheel BBK - larger calipers, but the rotors were significantly lighter when I went to two-piece rotors
Exhaust - cat back only saved 20lbs.
Front seats - Sparco road seats - while the seats themselves were lighter, you have to remember that you need mounting hardware as well. These are not light and add back in quite a bit of weight. End result I only ended up saving about 20lbs.
Light weight batter - I had a Braile battery and it worked great. Saved 28lbs over stock

For the 911, to save weight, you're going to have to get very tricky and it's going to cost quite a bit. I'm sure a CF hood/roof and light weight glass will help. I imagine this would be around 20lbs total weight savings for a car without a sunroof, but quite costly.
As you stated, the battery is a source to lighten up the car.
Litespeed racing has magnesium wheels that weigh around 17-18lbs. so you could save 7 - 9 lbs. per wheel and they cost around $8K.
A BBK or two-piece rotors will be lighter as well and save on rotational mass.
I don't know if the aftermarket suspension pieces are lighter or not. I switched to M3 suspension bits for my BMW and they were lighter than the stock units.
Going to LWB and rear seat delete will save some too. Again, the LWB cost is pretty steep.

With all of this maybe around 140lbs. weight savings. Cost would more than likely be around $40K - $60K, plus installation and painting where applicable. I had a total of $30K into my 330 when I was all done (including labor and paint).

For me the only thing I can see doing is possibly swapping to really light seats (like the carbon shell seats with padding that weigh less than 10lbs (not including hardware). And doing two piece rotors when I have to replace my stock rotors. Imo as our hoods and roof are aluminum I won’t save much with carbon replacements vs the cost (the hood is reasonable but the roof panel is crazy expensive). Luckily I already have the lightweight/gorilla glass fitted on my T. If I can get to the 3153 weight with fluids then I am happy for now without spending a boatload.

Hi I-Man, there are a few specialty shops carrying the automotive models but the easiest way is generally directly via our website. We'll also be having a Spring sale coming up for those that may be interested!
As always, please feel free to reach out to us directly with any questions.
Best regards,

My Carrera T weighs in at 3186 with 1/8 tank of fuel. Options: manual, RWS, 4 ways, no sunroof, Bose, base brakes and... wait for it... rear wiper (which automatically adds the normal full weight rear glass back to the car).

That also deletes the rear quarter gorilla glass as well right?

That's correct. Adding either the rear-wiper or rear-defrost to a T will also automatically add standard glass all around.

When you do, weight it with a full fuel tank. These weights with various, random fuel levels are needlessly imprecise.

2019 GTS, RWD, PDK, 4 Ways, RAS, Glass Roof, Full of Fuel, Bose, CL Wheels and Standard Brakes

Estimated Savings:
Exhaust - 60lb est (Headers, Muffler and Cat Delete)
Battery - 45lb est
Rear Seat - 20#
Wheels - 10#

I resurrected this thread. Just looking to see if you've done any of the weight savings mods you have listed and if you have any results.
I'm getting AP BBK more than likely today (been delayed twice already due to the weather). I'll weigh them to see the weight savings as well.

If ever you want to get a sense for just how hard Weissach worked to reduce weight in the 991 series, check the weights in this 964 C2 thread:

https://rennlist.com/forums/964-foru...4-weigh-6.html

Not a lot of great comps—with mods, a lot of 1/4 or 1/2 tank (or no gas), etc—but several suggest a stock US C2 is 3,050~, which even sounds a hair lighter than expected. Now consider all of the safety, equipment, and performance upgrades in a 991...not to mention its wheel/tire package.
