Out of curiosity, I weighted my 991.1 Carrera S Cabriolet PDK yesterday. The top was open (refrence for weight distribution) when on the scale.
Fuel tank was approx. 65% full. The car is european spec. Main Options are full leather, PDLS, heated & cooled 4-way Sport Plus seats, Burmester, PSE, 20” Carrera Classic wheels and PDK.
Almost what I had expected. Much better than the competion, IMO.

1537kg = 3381 lbs

Yeah not bad. Convertible M4 would've been around 3800 lbs.

Oh, by the way. I still have my 991.1 GTS and loving it. Needs to go in for its 30K service this summer.

991.1 GTS is an awesome car and will be a future classic.
Enjoy her in good health.

Just weighed my 2018 T, 3233 with full tank.

Manual
No sunroof
Buckets
RWS
PCCB
PPF
Fire extinguisher
Sport Classic style wheels

My 991.1 S PDK loaded spec was 3394 with lightweight wheels, and full fluids.

Reading this thread, I feel like some fugazi numbers are being thrown around, or these cars magically vary 50 lbs between identical specs.

3216lbs for our base 2017 Carrera 7MT. I'm surprised to see the range of weight in these cars.

It seems like the PCCB don't save any weight against the base brakes, maybe just the Red's.

Also seems like the buckets/rear seat delete don't save anything vs 4 ways.

I think you’d need to weigh cars on the same scale. Scale variances can make some of the difference. Fuel level is important as you mentioned.

Good point, accounting for 1% variance is 32lbs @ 3200 target, if one scale is low and another high, that is a big difference.

Rereading your post, I too wonder what the weight difference between the BASE steel brakes (as on Carrera and Carrera T) and PCCBs truly is. The ceramic discs are MUCH larger and they're clamped by larger calipers as well. Even at the same weight, I'd love these on my car.

From what I have read the pccb vs base brakes are similar weight but the carbon buckets vs 4 ways are around 20lbs lighter for the pair.
