Interesting...didn't know PCCB reduced weight. My rotors are and calipers look obviously bigger. I did a search and apparently it's about 40 lb total.

10 lb weight reduction in rotational mass is a big huge... it's kind of like having super light wheels. In theory and tests done on the impact of wheel weight/size, it would make the car faster to accelerate and stop.

That is a large reduction in rotational mass though.

I weighed mine at a truck scale, 1520 kg or 3,351 lbs.

People don’t realize how awesome the handling of the Cobra is. This was the genius of Carroll Shelby, aerodynamics (which the Cobra lacks but is also why he stopped development of the Cobra in favor of the Daytona, credit to Pete Brock for this groundbreaking car, which then got sidelined for a chance to whip Ferrari at Le Mans with the GT40) and engine placement. The Cobra and the Daytona both feature mid-front placement of the engine and people who are not familiar with the Cobra sit in it and wonder why their legs up crammed into small foot boxes that angle outward from the centerline of the car. Your feet are 2 cylinders up the headers.
I have a Backdraft Cobra and it is a real kick to drive at the track. 2,500 pounds with 571 hp and no electronics... you really get what weight transfer does to car and the only thing that holds it back are the street tires I run.

Heavy compared to a true vintage Porsche like a 914 or torsion-bar 911, but quite light compared to virtually any 964 or later Porsche sports car or GT. I spent a bit of time with some 928 owners last weekend, and asked a few of them what they'd found their cars to weigh. The numbers I heard made the 991.2 Carrera seem very, very light given its dimensions, performance, features, and safety.

Good thing is that our 991.2 comes with a bit of height adjustability on the rear suspension.
The higher setting is stock and makes it more levelled and looking normal.
If you want to shift a little weight to the front, for track use or better handling in general, you can lower the rear a bit.

Nice. Less than I "feared" it would be in this modern age of bloated cars. Especially fairly relieving being that the .2's are a good 120-150 lbs heavier than .1's.
I have a base .1 pretty loaded in options, but offset by light HRE's, no center muffler in the back, and H&R springs (not sure if lighter than stock springs). Really curious what it weighs. I'm thinking/hoping under 3,100 lbs, or max somewhere in the low 3,100s with a fairly full tank.
