I went to a truck stop yesterday that has CAT Scales in my 991.2 Targa GTS. Obviously I have AWD and a targa top that add weight over normal GTS. Mine has RAS and 4 way seats. No extra cushy items like 18 ways or keyless entry or lane keep stuff or FAL. The RAS would be the only thing that adds weight. With a 1/4 tank of gas it weighed 3600lbs. So I figure it is about inline with a 991.2 S for power to weight ratio. Oh yeah I have PDK so thats little extra weight over standard trim.

Heavy compared to a true vintage Porsche like a 914 or torsion-bar 911, but quite light compared to virtually any 964 or later Porsche sports car or GT. I spent a bit of time with some 928 owners last weekend, and asked a few of them what they'd found their cars to weigh. The numbers I heard made the 991.2 Carrera seem very, very light given its dimensions, performance, features, and safety.
My 964 RS America weighed 2865# with a half tank of gas when corner balanced. Not quite an early 911 or 914 but far better than a 991.2. However, when you factor in how much larger the modern 911’s are Porsche is doing ok with weight. They need cars with a smaller footprint. Hell, even our Boxster was gigantic next to the RSA. Some day I’ll weight my 991.1 for a proper comparison.

My dudes, you need to weigh the car fully wet. My T was 3240 brimmed with fluids, which are heavy. I had FAL and RAS which porked it up a bit. But thats the only options I had

Just weighed my Carerra t-1/4 tank fuel and it tipped the scales at 3175 lbs. Stock without fluids (I am assuming) is 3142. I have base brakes, 4 ways, no sunroof and RAS. In regards to weight reduction, I have an Antigravity replacement h6 battery (~40 lbs savings over stock battery) as well as Soul Cat Bypass pipes (~9 lbs savings over stock cats). I would love to get under 3100...but for now I am good. What do other Carerra T's weigh?

Back to life!

I finally weighed my car and it came in at 3,383#. The car does have TPC swaybars and Tractive dampers and was measured running a set GT3 wheels. I am hoping that I can pull out about 110 lb's by swapping to my Signature wheels, aftermarket exhaust, LIPO battery, rear seat removal.... but that might be pushing it.

2019 GTS, RWD, PDK, 4 Ways, RAS, Glass Roof, Full of Fuel, Bose, CL Wheels and Standard Brakes

Estimated Savings:
Exhaust - 60lb est (Headers, Muffler and Cat Delete)
Battery - 45lb est
Rear Seat - 20#
Wheels - 10#

Bumping an old thread. I'd like to see if anyone has weighed their car since this thread has been up.
I haven't had the chance yet, but will in the coming months. Always curious of the weight of our cars.

When you think about the size of the 991.X, they are relatively light compared to most modern sports cars (M2 weighs 3,500lbs.)

Nice. I weighed mine at the track on Friday night and it was right on my first weight of 3175lbs. 991.2 carerra T with 1/4 tank and a antigravity lightweight lithium battery as the only reduction in weight.

Nice!
Is there any coding needed for the Antigravity battery? That is quite a bit of weight savings for sure.

No coding or programming needed in my case. Saved a good chunk of weight-almost 40 lbs.

I am also hoping to get mine under 3100lbs. The Antigravity battery seems like the best bang for the buck. Which did you get? I have my eye on the 40Ah.

I have the 40Ah as well-I had the 30 for my gt4 but got a little more capacity for the 911 and it works great. The 30Ah worked in the 911 but the auto stop/start did not work when it was installed. Swapped to the 40Ah version and all has been well. I would like to get to under 3100lbs also but don't see it happening unless I start to remove the PSE, swap to lighter race buckets and possibly delete the rear seats. Even then I think it may be a struggle to get to 3100. So far I have the 40ah H6 Antigravity battery (39.XX lbs saved), cat bypass pipes (7.XX lbs saved), titanium lugs (1.XX saved) and HRE wheels (6.8 lbs saved over stock). All in about 54 lbs saved over stock. I am still convinced that the stock weight is with no fluids for the T and others as they quote 3153 lbs. When I weighed again at the track the other night I was really full weight- carseat in the back, helmet, gopro/mount etc. The other weight savings I can do is lower my weight as well-I am sure I can knock 20 off
