Hi. I’m a rotten negotiator but the dealer did agree to give $2k off MSRP. If all I wanted was a regular base Carrera there were several 2017 models on the lot that would have been much better deals from a discount standpoint.

I’m a track rat so the biggest thing for me is the ability to spec the lightweight bucket seats, which allow use of proper safety equipment without swapping out the OEM seats. Sports PASM and the mechanical locking differential are also good. The T really has the potential to be an exceptional street-track combination car. Cheaper than a GT3 and maybe even more fun!

I’ve owned other Porsche’s that were decked out with leather and stitching etc. Ended up preferring simpler interior configurations but it’s really just a matter of taste. Even the “standard” interior on a Porsche is pretty darn nice. I’ll take a look at your spec and see what you did.

    best,
    Jim

    Hello!

Just read the Carrera T thread and saw that you placed an order -- I am very close to putting in my deposit this week with my SA.

Just curious, you mentioned you got a small discount off MSRP? Could you let me know what they offered you?

I haven't discussed any pricing yet but will have to do so when I go in this week.

Here is the build I am looking at doing: http://www.porsche-code.com/PJMLNZF5

What did you end up speccing?

Thanks! Can't wait to drive this thing!
