Thanks!
thanks, they don't do PPF, but I had the PPF done by Derek Johnson at Atlanta Protective Films, right around the corner from them. He does all the Ferrari dealerships work and is a perfectionist

lol, I’m not, straight out of the installers mouth. Now that video is interesting, if there was such a coating that would self heal etching, and resist other blemishes, and not cost a ton I might bite, but I will let other people beta test this on their car and with their money. If you like coatings go for it, having choices is what makes our country great.

They did give me a 100 discount for previous customer though. USA Reflections, Roswell GA.

They also did my GT4 back in January. Not the best pic, but this is during a day of driving in occassional drizzle and wet roads
Thanks for the post Mike. I'll have to reach out to them. I was feeling iffy about the guy I had previously gotten a quote from.

I’m in Johns Creek, not far from USA Reflections and I believe that’s who did my neighbor’s 991 recently. He was very pleased with their work. I have not heard of Shine?

Does anyone here a partial PPF wrap topped with a ceramic coat? Or heck a full wrap with a ceramic coat?

I have a full vinyl wrap and on top of that xpel on the whole front of car. This morning I put two coats of ceramic film/coating on it. Will be interesting to see how well it holds up. Going to put it in the sun for a little while to cure. I'm curious how hydrophobic it will be and clean up.

I picked up mine today after getting ceramic done. I has partial PPF. They also did the rims & calipers. The car looks amazing.

It was done @ ProShine in Eatontown, NJ

Each time the paint correction was completed prior to ceramic coating application. In my opinion, it was completely worth it for the following reasons: 1) The glass/mirror look of the paint; 2) The laborious nature washing and drying the car is greatly reduced; 3) All sets of wheels were coated as well and removing the brake dust is easier; 4) Overall protection for the car's paint.

Also, depending on the installer of the coating can make a difference, so do your homework. For my installer, I connected with him as recommended by our local Ferrari dealer.
i'm being quoted $500 for a wheel package...seems high and if gain is only to take out brake dust easier during wash, it seems like maybe not worth it for wheels only??

After paying a guy a lot of money to come to my house and do a Jeep Wrangler I had and watching him....I found it easy to do myself. I bought and used the same products he used. Used the same techniques and read up on various detailing forums on what to do and not do. Its super simple just a little time consuming.

I used this:
Amazon Amazon

I've done my 991.2 GTS, C63 AMG and my Jeep Grand Cherokee. The Grand Cherokee is my daily work and travel vehicle. This coating work, bugs and dirt come off easy and it's also seen a few auto car washes too.
