Vehicle Fixed: 9/16 and Vehicle Complete: 10/5. Delivery to dealer is expected to be 11/23 but he told me it should be earlier than that since my car will arrive in Jacksonville and the dealer is in Tampa FL.

We should be getting ours around the same time then! I'm hoping they dock at the San Diego port to drop my car off for the PEC in LA before swinging down to Texas where they normally drop off the cars for the west, but we'll see. My SA said the date should be a lot more accurate once the car goes into production, but the shipping is what makes me nervous. Those delays, if they do happen, seem unavoidable :/

The more I think about it, the more annoyed I get so I try to go about my day as normal as possible. However, every text I get, I look to see if it's the SA or not!
Ya i can only imagine. Sending positive thoughts ur way! Keep us posted.

Mine is docking tomorrow, lets see how long it takes till it gets to the dealer.

I'm curious, what is the latest current delivery date anyone has heard of? Mine is scheduled for delivery to the dealer December 28-January 4.

I've got a similar delivery date for my October 19 build start ... Jan 4 in the Pacific NW. My dealer insists that I'll probably get it at least a week earlier, maybe even a couple of weeks earlier if all goes well.

My delivery date is scheduled for Dec 28th as well. My order was placed in very late July and my order has not locked yet although I have no interest in making any changes.

One of the few...I not only changed/added options but changed the model as well, all after the car was ordered/allocated.

Ha, I mean I guess I could tinker with a few interior accents in guards red like the dials and vents but I think I can live with those accents in black instead. Absolutely nothing wrong with tinkering.

Bob, just curious, what did you change from/to? Was it tough to get an allocation for the new model?

So you are not one of the few! It is fine to tinker since it takes time to figure out what you want, vice what other people want...the more you read the threads here the more you are likely to change.

I started out with a Targa 4S and as I started "tinkering" with the build I was soon close to the GTS money and since I liked the Black accents (and more power, etc.) I was able to change the allocation to a Targa GTS. Luckily I was at the right place at the right time when I switched to the GTS since my SA had an allocation and I was offered the same discount; however, when I started he did not have an allocation for the Targa 4S so he entered the order and it was picked up in about 2 weeks.

These threads are expensive to read for sure. They’ve inspired a few too many extra trips to the configurator.
