@BA73 Best wishes on continued recovery. Stay positive with the life change. Wishing you top dollar with selling your T, the last 991.2 Carrera T built (for North America at the very least).

The guys at Everyday Driver just released their “Price of Fun” film. This film features not just any Carrera T, but MY Carrera T!

My favorite line from Paul: “Yes you can buy happiness! It’s called a 911 Carrera T! This is the best iteration of the 991… if you have a Carrera T, I guarantee you will know something only the other Carrera T owners will know.”

I really enjoyed that video. For once it was stressed that it all comes down to what makes each individual happy. From those 5 cars, I'll take the T (lol, I already have) and the GR86. I feel the Toyota is one of those very special cars that only come around so often.

Anyone looking for a manual T, I noticed the PCA marketplace has 3 cars currently listed. Two black (one with buckets), one red, and all with no sunroof, RAS, basic Carrera-T interior (coloured stitching, not full leather), and manual transmission.

That video was fun to watch. It brought memories of my first sports car a Honda Prelude Si 4WS. I had so much fun in that car just like all the fun driving cars thereafter. The T has by far blown them away but it does make me wonder if I don’t drive it everywhere because I worry too much about it or because driving it 2hrs to/from Atlanta each week would suck the fun out of it.

My Mandatory Specs when I was on the hunt 2.5 Yrs ago Were:
A. Manual- Ive upgraded w/ Numeric Short Shifter and Function First weighted ****
B. Sunroof- Live In So Cal, and have never had a car w/ Non S/R ( Until my new daily 2023 M5 Competition w/ Carbon Fiber roof)
C.Regular 4 or 18 way seats - Couldn't see my self enjoying ingress/ egress w. the Sport buckets

At the outset was not convinced the PCCBs were a option I wanted , but my opinion changed Day 1 and every single time I drive now..

Love this Car!!
Love that shifter!

EDIT... oops i see you mention above... Function First 👍

Got its first snow experience [under my ownership]. Pretty good.

Still think the Viking 7 is a better snow tire than the Alpine. But not available in 20s.

Default 991 Carrera T feature article in 911&Porsche World

Great article in the British magazine ‘911&Porsche World’, December’23 issue on a Racing Yellow 991 T.

Highly complimentary.
