Yes, agreed. I think the 991.2 T is awesome. Other than the 991.2 GT3 Touring, it would have been my choice.
I drove a 992 base Carrera and didn't love it at all. I drove a 991.2 T and fell in love.
BUT... it can be even better. A true Clubsport / RS America, that doesn't cost a ton just because Porsche likes to milk its customers (e.g., let'd do a convertible GT3 Touring and charge 3X more!).
The hybrid drive is coming whether we like it or not. At least if it comes with naturally aspirated engines, it's more palpable.
Remove Before Race recently talked about why displacement will go up, not down, with electrification. I've been meaning to watch that episode to the end, as I don't recall his rationale; but it seemed sound.Something to do with fuel economy legislation and engine displacement.

I agree with you that a true clubsport would be awesome. I just feel like sooooo many people would want it that they'd never bother lowering the price to where we'd hope. Also, you can get a 100k Cayman these days so how cheap can a clubsport 911 ever get? But I do agree, a true stripper 911 with a hot motor in it would be pretty dreamy for a lot of people. I just think that given the juice they must charge on a GT3...why would they cannibalize on it?

Was for sale at a dealer in Montreal (Prestige Porsche) so had to deal with the hassle of importing it, although to be honest it hasn't been that bad of a process as long as you're patient. Plus, I live in the midwest so it wasn't like I was trying to drive in Jan and Feb anyway.
Previous owner had basically mothballed it and traded it in on a new 992.

I’m stumped...I put on the Zunsport grilles (after noticing and removing about 3lbs of debris) and noticed my driver side louder motor was running the louvers open/closed constantly. I thought it was binding so I removed both grilles. My left front air intake is still going crazy. It happens every time I open the car door. When it finally stops after 3-4 minutes the left is closed and right side open...any ideas?
