IMHO that would be fine.

No worries at all, remember that you are installing rotors to increase the longevity not for further braking so no need to make any changes until you have exceeded the capabilities of the stock rotors which would be indicated by premature cracking.

Oh, and I would HIGHLY recommend the Essex AP hardware it is far superior.

Short answer is, it will be fine.

However if you track, and you left full traction on, you would kill the rear pads fast.

So make sure if you track you turn traction half off (PSM Sport) or fully off of you are more skilled.

About 2 days into stripping the car I made a deal to sell it as advertised AND add a Techart rear wing. Thank you to everyone for their support. The legend of Big Bird will live on in Ohio. It went to a family that already has a PDK 981 with one of our 3.8L swaps. Good luck to all and Happy Holidays!

Can you please help me understand if below harness needs to cut the carpet of my car or is installed in the bame bolts as the OEM 3 point seatbelt?

Thank you in advance.

First post. After reading through this thread Friday night I now have a 991.2 in my garage! Thank you for helping me decide. Very informative thread! Tribute to my BGB cobb tuned Cayman.

This is the first turbo car I've owned and will be tracking. Is the 3rd radiator number 1 on the list of track mods? I have the pads/oil/tires ect. I am definitely goiing with another cobb tune through BGB. Thanks, it's been awhile since I've posted on forums.

It really depends on where you’re driving and in what temps as to whether the center (3rd) radiator is needed.

FWIW, I drive mine through 90° days with no sign of overheating or even elevated temps.

Better brakes (as you mention) and as much negative camber as the stock suspension will allow should carry you through. Obviously, if you’re already a total hot shoe, there’s more to be done, but the cars are shockingly competent out of the box.

I was also thinking of adding the 3rd radiator, but I'm worried it might add additional lift on the front end (as opposed to downforce). Does anyone know if this is true? (I'd even be ok with net neutral, i.e. no loss/gain of downforce)

I think the design of the 3rd radiator for the GTS bumper has it venting out the bottom under the car. Whereas the 3rd radiator on the GT3 has it venting out the top over the hood.

I have 3rd radiator, needed for south Texas temperature. I have not noticed any lift at 155mph.

Do you have a 991.2? Can you take a picture of your bumper for me? I've never seen how it looks installed on a .2 car.

Problem solved. Vented to top. (This is a GTS.) P.S. I washed my car myself for the first time since having the GT3 front end and damn, there is a lot of heat that vents out the top. I've never felt heat at the front before. That vent gets hot.

Lovely, but too pricey for me. It's less than $1k for me to add the 3rd radiator to the GTS bumper, but I don't want to do it if it adds any lift at all.
