Spoke to my shop today, Driver source where Steve is a wealth of information.
So the housing for the Carrera, T, S GTS, turbos are the same. They a machining them out and changing internals. He said owners of a 4S with tune got 200hp. Maybe not first year, gut with all the other goodies, an option down the road.
So here’s my definition of “purist” - a raw, fun to drive car with only 3 options for ALL of my driving needs, from cruising while rocking my favorite jams (Burmester), ferrying my bike to an epic ride (Roof Transport) or year-round spirited driving (heated seats). This car just does everything right for me! Plus, the lineage of the 911 makes it infinitely fascinating to me, from the detailed engineering to the storied heritage & history.

Only T with Burmester?

Well I chose to pass on the June build and wait as my local dealer has their first '19 allocation reserved for me. Since Porsche removed Graphite and Sapphire I have my fingers crossed that they'll replace those two colors with at least one other blue. I understand that neither were available for a T but I'm still hopeful that they'll have Biscay as an option, or another blue like it (yachting) etc. Otherwise I cant go wrong with Silver.
I drove my car for 2 full days before turning on the music. And that was because my son asked what the Bose sounded like... ROTFL! My favorite station: PSE in Sport Mode.
@BlackOptic: Well done! It was my very first mod too. And it looks fantastic with GT Silver.
I’m super happy to FINALLY report that I picked my T yesterday morning! I’ve been super busy and have put on about 120 miles so far but wow ... just wow.

Very cool. Can’t wait to see.
(After switching my side lights today, I went for a quick drive. I found a line of a dozen Corvette’s taking a tour... but, no P-cars out today. But, boy, this T is fun to drive.)
