Looks like quite a few deliveries in the last few days, lot's of happy T owners I hope!

It looks like the only color missing from all the posts is orange.

Also, given that the T is more likely to be bought by a Porsche fan, unlike the base or the S which appeals to a broader range of customers, and the fact that RL is a well known destination for Porsche fans, it is surprising the low number of T's posted. Granted, proportionally we may have a HUGE sample of the total T owners (vs total S or base owners), but it is still a very small number of owners.

I am very confident that the total number of 2018 Carrera T's produced should be less than 700 - 800 worldwide.

Interesting and good to hear your figure of 700-800, Alex.

On what do you base your estimate?

Cheers,

Simon

Based on VIN numbers and total production.

I did a post a few weeks ago after analyzing hundreds of VINs from November to March.

Picked mine up today. I’ll post some better photos after the weekend drive.

Running in goes on...first time 6.000rpm.

In this car you really can feel, if the AC is on or off, or if your passenger is 70 or 100 Kg, or the gas tank is filled up or empty...

AND, I miss the backfire in Sport+...;-)

I have a T on order and need to lock in my build shortly. I’m going to go with GT Silver, PCCB’s and Carrera T yellow interior but was wondering if anyone has seen a Porsche side decal in a grey colour that would match the mirrors / rims. I’m possibly thinking of the Porsche script in yellow to match the Calipers.
If I go this way, I’m assuming the Carrera T script on the side is under the clear coat which means I would need to delete this in my build? Just wondering thoughts on going with a side decal different to the T?

The current one is just a decal so u can just take it to a graphics shop after delivery and do anything you like. Nice build

When I saw the T in person, I realized it was a sticker and I removed it from my build (personal preference). Overall the majority of folks seem to like it, plus its a special edition. I left the "911 Carrera T" logo on the rear though. Normally I prefer debadging, but that would be a big mistake on this one I think.

You will love the Racing Yellow Carrera T interior package! It's fab!

The mirrors are Agate Grey and the wheels are Titanium Grey.

I would take delivery of the car with the Carrera T side decals and see how you like them in the metal. As has been said, the T will be a fairly rare beast, so I think it's good to celebrate its T-ness!

Good idea. I’ve been on the fence on this for a while but I do think it’s a shame to “de badge” the T consideringi it’s quite unique. I’ll have it delivered with it on and go from there.

I was in the same position as you on the decals (and the badging).

Am now glad that I left all badges and decals in place.

And I imagine that a T will be a rare beast indeed in Australia, so even more reason for other folks to know what it is.
