Good catch, thanks for sharing. Both Ts look and sound fantastic. Can't wait to see more reviews, etc. Stout/000 should be providing some content to us shortly I hope.

I also noticed how the T sounded pretty good, at least at very low speed, especially with side by side with 4.0 GT3 motor...I wonder if it is tuned or engineered differently than the .2 C2 and C4 engines or maybe it is a placebo effect because of the sporty "T" package.... Then again I think my .2 C4 sounds like that/sounds great aside from the turbo noise under hard acceleration

Those little turbo motors sound so sad.

So, now that the reviews are pouring in and Pete/000 was kind enough to provide us with his real-time perspective, how are we all still feeling about the T?

I’m personally still very excited about it and believe it will be quite the fun ride to be in. Thoughts?

Do you intend to track yours? If I can't firm up a .2 GT3 allocation, then I'm planning on heading to a GTS or T. I love the fact that I can get the buckets in the T, but am concerned about the power, or lack thereof.
Is anyone planning on tracking their T?

Don't worry about the detractors, it sounds fine. Be excited! Congrats!

I may do 1 DE event a year at most, but most likely won't be tracking it at all. I don't know about the GTS (there seems to be lots of heavy opinions about it around here and in general) but I know the C2 drove wonderfully with respect to power. No complaints here.

@k997 - I think you're doing the right thing. I have 991.2 C2 incoming (currently close to the Panama Canal), so I'm not switching. However, if I had to do it again, I would go with the T. And don't let the nay sayers discourage you.

Cheers, -Peter

Thanks Peter! And congrats on your incoming C2 - can't wait to see pics!

Thanks for the reviews!
As far as tracking my T, this definitely is in the plan. The LWB provide a track-street capability on par with GT4 and GT3. Available torque on corner exit will offset any theoretical power disadvantage. I’ll be upgrading the brake rotors to slightly larger girodisc floating rotors plus track pads and brake fluid. Eventually get some lightweight 19” wheels, harness bar and Belts. Good to go.

It’s torque will make it lots of fun on the right track.

So, with a 981 Spyder in the garage, would the 911T be redundant? With a true 6speed, and open air capabilities, I wonder if the 911T will sit. I'm thinking of it more as a DD than the Spyder, except for long trips or truly cruddy weather.
