There are are many options on the UK configurator not available to us in the US.
Privacy rear screen is available in lightweight, so I have been told.

The car will be toured, not tracked. I commute 3 or 4 days a week: 100 mile round trip, 2 hours a day., 1,000 miles month - I need some comforts.
All of this is in darkness this time of year, roads are mostly unlit so LEDs a must.
The LWBs look great. I really wanted these but just couldn't get comfortable for a 5 minute journey let alone longer. 18 ways are relatively cheap and allow the seat base to be tilted.
PCCB - again wanted but couldn't notice any performance difference.
The spec I have gone for is stripped compared to my GTS but nearly all of the options I am already very familiar with other than the manual box.

Lots of differences between UK and USA spec. USA doesn't get the folding sports bucket seats (why?) but does get two T interior packages: Standard and Leather. UK gets leather only at £1.809 whereas USA $6.670 - gosh!

I have enough cars, but I did enter the PCA raffle and would be happy to have a "T." A unique offering and glad that Porsche offers so many choices with their flagship vehicle.

All makes sense! Your build will be great, can't wait to see pics. I never did understand why there is a difference in some options depending on the location. Micro economics per region I guess (and local laws). I do like the look of the PCCBs but really can't justify the $9k cost for them.

Are you keeping the GTS or trading in?

You do have a great stable!

When do they call the winner?

Ordered my Carrera T, FYI I got a 2% off MSRP from SA.

Can't wait to share pics/experiences with everyone -- allocation estimate is early April. There's 4 people ahead of me on list -- but dates can change of course..

Congrats UVXY! Allocation or delivery estimate? I'm assuming you mean allocation since there are others ahead of you. So your delivery will be roughly June/July? Send us your spec code.

I'm going to win it. I'll add a lift to the garage. So when I do win, do you get to spec the car just as if you were buying it and then pay the 25% tax as well as the cost of options? I don't want to win a spec car that I can't customize!

Friday I am going to look at a 2016 GT4. If the bucket seats are uncomfortable or if it doesn't float my boat, this is the build I think will try to order

Man, you are going for it! Super nice build, but I couldn't spend that much on a T.

Yes, you can spec the car. PCA will show a pre-speced car allocation for you to review. You can take it as is, or spec your own. You have to pay the diffference if the cost is above what they offered. The $25k is very helpful of course, but the value of the car will show up as a bump in your annual income so will most likely increase your Federal and State taxes. Plus the price of the lift, of course.
